War is one of those groups that really kept on going greatly, long after folks seem to remember – a group who changed their sound nicely with the times, and never seemed to lose their original sense of soul! This set's light years from their earlier heavy funk, but still wonderful work overall – a redefinition of their groove into some laidback modes that make for some especially nice stepping moments!
