A wonderful mix of Brazilian inspiration and acoustic French modes – served up here by the haunting duo of Teca and Ricardo! Both artists sing and play a bit of guitar on the record – Ricardo more of the latter than Teca – and the album also features Nelson Angelo on guitar, whose darker tones are really felt throughout – plus added piano, percussion, and flute. Tunes have a warm and gentle feel – not quite folk, and with elements that almost link them more to the subtle drama of Nara Leao or Maria Bethania, especially in the spirit of the music. Titles include "Cirandas", "Celeniel", "Senhor Piloto", "Ligado", "Limoeiro", and "Circo Do Horror". CD
