Souls Of MischiefMontezuma's Revenge ... LP
Clear Label/Hiero Imperium, 2009. New Copy (reissue)... $28.99 31.99
A long-overdue return for Souls Of Mischief – a record that comes after a surprisingly long hiatus together as a group, and one that shows that all of their many side projects and solo efforts of the oughties really help them come back with a heck of a mighty punch! Part of the strength here comes from the work of Prince Paul on many cuts – helping the group to focus their energy, update their sound, and remind the world why Souls Of Mischief were so crucial back in the 90s! Titles include "Postal", "Tour Stories", "Proper Aim", "Poets", "Hiero HQ", "Fourmation", "Dead Man Walkin", "Home Game", "La La La", and "Lickity Split". LP, Vinyl record album
(First time on vinyl!)

Souls Of MischiefNo Man's Land (colored vinyl pressing) (2024 Black Friday Release) ... LP
Jive/Get On Down, 1995. New Copy 2LP Gatefold (reissue)... $39.99
A great second set from Souls Of Mischief – maybe not as grabbed up as their debut, yet still an essential building block in the Heiroglyphics mythology! The set's especially fresh in a world of west coast hip hop – more down to earth, honest, and with a wit that so many of their contemporaries were lacking – especially the other Oakland acts who were trying to enforce a harder take on the East Bay sound. These guys definitely have more of an edge than Del, but it's also hard to tell if it's a pose to get their message across – sliding in some smartness when it might be unexpected. Del guests on "94 Via Satellite" – and other cuts include "Come Anew", "Ya Don't Stop", "No Mans Land", "Secret Service", "Hotel Motel", "Do You want It", "Where The F*ck You At", and "Dirty D's Theme". LP, Vinyl record album
(On "Tide Pod" colored vinyl – with obi.)

✨✧ Hieroglyphics3rd Eye Vision (deluxe edition – with bonus track) ... LP
Hiero Imperium, 1998. Near Mint- 3LP Trifold ... Out Of Stock
The classic debut LP from the combined members of the legendary Hieroglyphics collective! For as long as individual members and like Del Tha Funky Homosapien and affiliated groups like Souls Of Mischief had been dominating discussions about Bay Area hip hop, you had to wonder how they'd rein it all in for the a consistent group effort, but it may be that veteran wisdom that makes it such a winning effort. Some of the tracks hew closer to the older Hiero sound introduced by Del and the Souls of Mischief on their classic first couple of LPs, and some of the tracks have a grittier late 90s feel – and it's a consistently strong effort to this day. Features Pep Love, Casual, Del, Tajai, Opio, A Plus and Domino on the mic – and production by Domino, A+, Toure, and J-Biz. Titles include "The Who", "After Dark", "Mics Of The Roundtable", "Off The Record", "You Never Knew", "All Things", "Oakland Blackouts" and more. Anniversary version includes the bonus track "Battle Of The Shadow". 23 tracks in all. LP, Vinyl record album

Delicious Vinyl, 1992. Sealed 2LP ... Out Of Stock
Essential 1992 classic by The Pharcyde, the group's high water mark, and one of the greatest hip hop albums of the era! Along with Del and the Souls Of Mischief, the Pharcyde were one of the few West Coast units to achieve any kind of widespread popularity using the uniquely loopy, funhouse kinda of vibe of De La Soul, Black Sheep and Tribe Called Quest in their lighter moments.
