That's a pretty groovy looking keyboard on the cover – and the record's got a pretty groovy sound as well – very different than other organ records or Mid-East instrumental titles of the time, thanks in part to some very dexterous work on the multi-level keys from OmarElShariyi! The tunes are all Egyptian melodies by Mohamed Abdel Wahab, but given a very groovy electric spin – in modes that sometimes almost veer towards the moogy, mixed with acoustic percussion, violin lines, and some other nice touches – all of which really keep things interesting in balance with the keyboards. Omar's actually the better-known AmmarElSherei, working under a pseudonym – and titles include "Ana Wehabieby", "Ahwak", "Gafnoho", "Yawabor Kolly", and "Ah Mennak". LP, Vinyl record album
