✨✧ Led ZeppelinLed Zeppelin ... LP
Atlantic, 1969. Very Good ... $29.99
One of the most monumental debuts in rock history – a record that hit the world like a led zeppelin, and left an impression for years to come! Led Zeppelin pretty much took over rock right from the beginning – which isn't too surprising, given that Jimmy Page had an in-demand guitar heavy for years already – but the power of this debut is still astonishing after all these years – a blistering blend of bluesy roots, psych fuzz, and razor-sharp instrumental dexterity! The whole thing's a gem – and titles include "Good Times Bad Times", "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" "You Shook Me", "Dazed And Confused", "Your Time Is Gonna Come", "Black Mountain Side", and "I Can't Quit You Baby". LP, Vinyl record album
(Red & green Broadway label pressing, with AT etch – SD 8216. Cover has light wear.)
Also available Led Zeppelin (180 gram pressing) ... LP 24.99

✨✧ Led ZeppelinLed Zeppelin II ... LP
Atlantic, 1969. Very Good Gatefold ... $33.99
One of the most supremely classic of all classic hard rock albums! As huge as the debut was, Led Zeppelin II is the record that proved that the group were going to be in it for the long haul – with a righteous raw power that's still being felt all these many decades later! Nobody else could touch this one – and the album is filled with iconic cuts that include "Whole Lotta Love", "Ramble On", and"Heartbreaker" – plus the ridiculous Bonzo showcase "Moby Dick", and "Bring It On Home". LP, Vinyl record album
(Red & green Broadway pressing, SD 8236.)

✨✧ Led ZeppelinLed Zeppelin III ... LP
Atlantic, 1970. Very Good Gatefold ... Just Sold Out!
The third in Led Zeppelin's spectacular run of early albums – each one either matching or topping its predecessor, depending on one's personal favorite – and a record with an influence that's as massive as the sound! The record's got a pair of of Zep's best-remembered songs in "Immigrant Song" and their take on the traditional "Gallows Pole", but the whole thing is great – and a great balance of their earlier bombast with a lot more acoustic moments. Other tracks include "Friends", "Celebration Day", "Tangerine" and "Hats Off (To Roy Harper)". LP, Vinyl record album
(US Broadway label pressing, SD 7201,in the die-cut revolving wheel cover, "So Mote It Be" etch, with some ring and edge wear.)

Led ZeppelinPhysical Graffiti ... LP
Swan Song/Atlantic, 1975. Very Good 2LP ... $44.99
Led Zeppelin at their most sprawling – in both ambition and in the pacing – on the gargantuan Physical Graffiti! This is the album where they started bringing some odd synth textures to the sound, and it's to Zeppelin's eternal credit that this doesn't compromise their blues-reverent hard rock one bit! There's no better Zeppelin album when it comes to giving the fans what they want, while chasing the band's adventurous muses at the same time. Includes the classics "Kashmir", "Custard Pie", "Houses Of The Holy", "In The Light", "Ten Years Gone", "Boogie With Stu", "Sick Again" and more. LP, Vinyl record album
(US Swan Song pressing with PR and AT etches, in the die-cut cover, including the heavy inner sleeves. Cover has light wear.)

✨✧ Led ZeppelinLed Zeppelin IV ... LP
Atlantic, 1971. Very Good+ Gatefold ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Hard rock perfected! It's around Led Zeppelin IV that you can easily say that the group moved up from being incredibly great to flat-out legendary – really in a class by themselves, although maybe they'd already reached that point with the sublime sounds of the previous three records! There's a darkness here – and a sense of magick too – an eerie new energy that still has all the balls-out rock power of before, but which has the group moving into this heady territory that's really all their own. Every song is a classic – and tracks include "Black Dog", "Stairway To Heaven", "Rock And Roll", "Misty Mountain Hop", "When The Levee Breaks", "Going To California", "Four Sticks", and "Battle Of Evermore". LP, Vinyl record album
(US pressing with Broadway address and Porky/Pecko Duck etches, SD 7208. Includes the printed inner sleeve. Cover has light wear.)

✨✧ Led ZeppelinPresence ... LP
Swan Song/Atlantic, 1976. Very Good+ Gatefold ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Overlooked genius from Led Zeppelin – an album that was missed by many the first time around, because of it's tight focus and simplicity! For the set, the group step back just a bit from their more stylistically sprawling tendencies – almost as if they got some of the more ambitious ideas out of their system with Physical Graffiti, or simply wanted to get out there and kick some ass – a back to basics move, and one that sees some tremendous guitar work from Jimmy Page! The album still has some longer songs and complicated changes – this is Led Zeppelin, after all – and the lack of over-played classic rock radio fodder actually makes this one a better listen nowadays than the more iconic albums. Includes "Achilles Last Stand", "For Your Life", "Nobody's Fault But Mine", "Candy Store Rock", "Hots On For Nowhere", and "Tea For One". LP, Vinyl record album
(Includes the printed inner sleeve. Cover has light wear and an info sticker.)

PlusNo Pisar (with bonus 7 inch) ... LP
Svart (Finland), 1976. New Copy (reissue)... $26.99
Not the funky European group of the same name from the 70s – but an even more obscure hard rock quartet from Buenos Aires – and one who perform here with a non-stop sound that's completely wonderful! These guys have clearly drunk deep of the Anglo world of hard rock – particularly the style that was first influenced by blues rock, but soon took the approach into longer-form, freakier and fuzzier modes – definitely the case here with all the album's wonderful guitar solos – driven by heavy drums, and topped by some searing vocals. There's definitely a Led Zeppelin vibe, but lots more going on too – and titles include "La Chance Sutil", "Hablan De Tiempos Mejores", "Tomame Como Soy", "Zapada Final", and "El Mago Del Tiempo". LP, Vinyl record album
(Limited edition of 500! Features a bonus single – with "Mil Opciones" and "Hoy Te Preguntaras".)

VariousRock En Avandaro – Valle De Bravo ... CD
Orfeon (Mexico), 1972. Used ... $4.99
An overview of some of the hippest Mexican rock of the early 70s – put together as a tribute to the country's first rock festival in 1971! Most of the work here is pretty hard edged – tunes with very tight guitars and a slightly bluesy undercurrent – kind of a Mexican equivalent of the Cream/Led Zeppelin/Deep Purple era of the UK – with a fair bit of English language lyrics on most tunes. A few of the rhythms are nicely tight, and almost funky at points – and some of the groups bring in some added horns, which creates almost a jazz rock vibe – especially on work by The Soul Masters, who are clearly our favorites here! The Soul Masters cuts show a dose of James Brown influence too – with some really romping rhythms and super tight horns on tracks that include "New Man", "Jenny My Love", "Libertad", and "I Feel I'm Losing You". Other groups and titles include "Di Por Que" and "Tal Vez" by The Love Army, "Roaming" and "Everyday Face" by La Fachada De Piedra, and "Buscando Alrededor" by Free Minds. CD
(Out of print, packaged in a great little LP style sleeve.)

✨✧ AerosmithAerosmith ... CD
Columbia, 1973. Used ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
The swaggering, hard grooving and hard rocking debut of Aerosmith! While "Dream On" gets as much or more rock radio play than any song should ever need, it's actually pretty easy to overlook just how good the rest of the record is. They may borrow the bluesy swagger of the Stones and heavy riffing of Led Zeppelin, but it's ultimately a heavy, but accessible rock sound that's distinctively all their own. Includes "Dream On", "Make It", "Somebody", "Walkin The Dog", "Write Me", and "Mama Kin". CD
