The record's produced by Bobby Eli with a bit of a Philly soul touch, but in ways that go quite past the conventional modes of the time – kind of offbeat at points, with a richness in sound that really matches Barrow's vocal range! Keith is one of those singers who's very confident in his style – working lines over and over, and driving a tune into a nice sort of frenzy – even at some mellow moments.
