Amon Duul IIMade In Germany ... LP
Atco, 1975. Very Good+ ... $14.99
A big international record from Amon Duul – and for good reason, too – as the set's filled with catchy little tracks that have this really cool blend of prog and glam! The style's almost like Roxy Music at points – with the vocals all compressed in the guitars, and this sinister vibe in the instrumentation – played by a group who clearly know how to stretch out more, but instead pack a lot of experimentation into shorter, groovier space. The vocals are in English, but accented – which gives them a further offbeat vibe – and titles include "The King's Chocolate Waltz", "Emigrant Son", "La Krautoma", "Metropolis", "Gala Gnome", and "Mr Kraut's Jinx". LP, Vinyl record album
(Includes the printed inner sleeve. Cover has ring and edge wear.)

Green DayNimrod (translucent yellow colored vinyl pressing) ... LP
Reprise/Rhino, 1997. New Copy 2LP (reissue)... On October 2, 2020 (delayed)
Green Day as in command of killer hooks and stomping choruses as ever! Nimrod was bit underappreciated by longtime fans growing weary of Green Day's aging process towards the late 90s, but it's gota well earned and slowly built repuation as a fan favorite nowadays. With the formula of unapologetically appropriated craft well in place – proudly working in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school of pop punk – there's some pretty smart and honest vulnerability in the lyrics, with the fellas well aware that getting older doing what they do is a tricky thing to pull off. Given that they're as popular as ever deep in the next millennium, they clearly got it right! Includes "Nice Guys Finish Last", "Hitchin' A Ride", "Redundant", "All The Time", "Jinx", "Reject", "King For A Day", "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)" and more. LP, Vinyl record album
(Rhino Rocktober brick & mortar store exclusive.)
