IndeepWhen Boys Talk (voc, acapella, inst, scratch version A, scratch version B) ... 12-inch
Sound Of New York, 1983. Very Good+ ... $7.99
The other single from one-hit-wonders Indeep. The cut has almost the same feel as "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life", with an insistent beat and a propulsive bass pedal, and a sort of chirping funky guitar line, but at a slightly slower tempo. The scratch versions don't actually have scratching on them, but are more like striped down bonus beats. 12-inch, Vinyl record
(In a Sound Of New York sleeve.)

✨✧ IndeepLast Night A DJ Saved My Life (voc, acapella)/DJ Delight/Bonus Sound Effect Tracks ... 12-inch
Sound Of New York/Becket, 1982. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Maybe a bit goofy, but now a classic club track that's survived the test of time nicely as just about every DJ's theme song, with a monster scratchy guitar riff, and lots of that rolling bass pedal groove that was so popular in the early 80s. 12-inch, Vinyl record
(Beige label pressing in a brown Becket sleeve.)

Sound Of New York, 1982. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Goofy, silly – but one that we still dig after all these years! The track has a monster scratchy guitar riff, and lots of that rolling bass pedal groove that was so popular in the early 80s. Also features a terrible white rapper – but he's so silly you can almost forgive him! The track's also been sampled/quoted in a bunch of hip hop cuts over the years! 7-inch, Vinyl record

✨✧ Secret WeaponMust Be The Music (voc, inst) ... 12-inch
Prelude, 1981. Very Good- ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
One of our favorite 80s club cuts – a track with a quick-stepping bassline on the bottom, some nicely snapping beats, and a lightly sung vocal that almost hits the same DJ-conscious territory as work by Indeep! There's some female chorus vocals behind the guy – which also makes the tune great! 12-inch, Vinyl record
(In a Prelude sleeve.)
