✨✧ Duke TurnerGive Me Some Sugar/Pusher Man (Give Me A Dime) ... 7-inch
Crajon, 1974. Very Good ... Out Of Stock
Two very nice, very heavy soul cuts! "Give Me Some Sugar" is a sweet mellow ballad, with Duke singing high lead vocals, with backing by a group on the choruses. He's got a nice soul sound, and the cut's a simple one, but has a really great raw harmony sound. The flipside's even nuttier – and features some guys begging a pusher for a dime (not a dime bag!) That one's got heavy rumbling production, sort of in the Curtom mode, but more primitive. 7-inch, Vinyl record
(Labels have light stains.)
