StreetlifeNite Songs (180 gram pressing) ... LP
DC Records/Tidal Waves, 1980. New Copy (reissue)... $23.99 30.98
A rare funky gem from this obscure Florida group – a combo with roots in the more-famous Winstons – that legendary group who gave the world "Amen Brother" at the end of the 60s! The work here is equally funky, but in a different sort of way – tight 70s ensemble funk, with instrumentation that's sharp enough to have some nice jazzy currents – and a completely on the money approach that blends nice horn work with some strongly-grooving rhythms! Vocals shift around nicely from track to track – and there's a lot of jazzy work throughout – on titles that include "What Am I Gonna Do", "Everlasting Love", "Head Over Heels", "Livin Lovin Lady", "I Need A Woman", "Interlude", and "Night Songs". John FaheyJohn Fahey Visits Washington DC ... CD
Takoma (UK), 1979. New Copy ... $11.99 18.99
A fantastic late 70s album from guitar genius John Fahey – his first after a number of years away from the recording studio – and a real back to basics effort overall! There's none of the "orchestra" trappings of other 70s records – nor some of Fahey's more longer-form ideas – and instead, the tracks focus mostly on his incredible sense of texture and timing on the acoustic guitar – heard to perfectly as he folds his own compositions together with songs by Bill Monroe, Bola Sete, Leo Kottke, and Doc Watson! The whole thing's wonderfully understated – even more so than you'd guess from the cover – and titles include "Silver Bell/Cheyenne", "Ann Arbor/Death By Reputation", "The Discovery Of Syliva Scott", "Guitar Lamnento", "Melody McBad", and "The Grand Finale". Strut (UK), Late 70s/1980s/Early 90s. New Copy 2LP ... $28.99 29.99
A great look at one of our favorite record labels of all time – a company that was one of the first we ever worked together with, back when we started Dusty Groove – and whose music has been a huge inspiration to us for decades! Black Fire is a really special record label from the DC area – not just a jazz imprint, but more of an artistic collective – maybe similar to what Tribe Records was to the Detroit scene of the 70s, but also more open to more soulful sounds too – which is what really makes so many of these tracks so great – as they have a perfect balance between jazz, funk, and soul – kind of that through-line that the Chicago scene had as things moved from Sun Ra, to Phil Cohran, on to the Pharoahs and Earth Wind & Fire! That trajectory is key here – as many of the players were rooted in more avant jazz styles, but were also eager to communicate their message in ways that were more universal – which is why the music here has such lasting appeal over the years – as it's filled with messages of love and peace, life and pride – with an intensity that maybe makes these tracks every bit as important now as when they were first recorded. The best-known group on the set is Oneness Of Juju, but there's work from the whole spectrum of Black Fire artists – tracks that include "Look At The People" by Wayne Davis, "Doin The Carvin For Thabo" by Lon Moshe, "African Rhythms (live 1975)" by Oneness Of Juju, "Children Of Tomorrow's Dreams" by Theatre West, "People" by Experience Unlimited, "Third House" by Southern Energy Ensemble, and "Drummers From Ibadan" by Byard Lancaster. Bear Family (Germany), 1940s/1950s. New Copy 16CD ... Out Of Stock
A long-overdue look at a music scene that's been overlooked for years – the rich legacy of soul, jazz, blues, and R&B music that came from Washington, DC at midcentury – a city that's not nearly as well-known a source for sounds as Chicago, Detroit, and New York – but which gave the world an incredible legacy of wonderful records over the years! As now, back then DC had a substantial African-American population – and as with other urban black centers of music production, the city had clubs, labels, and radio stations that were able to promote and record some of the new styles that were brewing up at the time – music by a surprisingly rich legacy of talents that includes big names like Lloyd Price, The Clovers, Don Covay, and Billy Eckstine – plus dozens of much more obscure artists, all featured here in a massive 16 CD set! The package is as much a musical archive as it is a listening paradise – and comes with a 352 hardcover booklet that's overflowing with notes, rare photos, and other musical images of the city – all to support an insane amount of music – 472 tracks in all! Bad BrainsBad Brains ... CD
Roir/ORG, 1981. New Copy ... $11.99 12.99
A hell of a record from one of the key groups who put the "hard" in the American hardcore scene – and a record that's so blisteringly intense, we still sometimes have to check to make sure we've got it on the right speed! Although Bad Brains may fly the flag of the Rastas, and definitely claim a reggae influence – the record manages to both blow away the work of the LA scene with its full-on hardcore tracks, and the UK scene with the group's few reggae-styled numbers. The original was only issued as a cassette, but that hasn't stopped it from being one of the key punk records of the time – and titles include "Sail On", "Don't Need It", "Attitude", "The Regulator", "Banned In DC", "Jah Calling", "Supertouch/Shitfit", "Leaving Babylon", "Fearless Vampire Killers", "I", "Big Take Over", "Pay To Cum", "Right Brigade", "I Luv I Jah", and "Intro". Mississippi John HurtMr Hurt Goes To Washington ... CD
Sunset Blvd, Mid 60s. New Copy 2CD ... $24.99 25.99
Really great later recordings from Mississippi John Hurt – recorded in Washington DC, hence the title – and done in this stripped-down mode that really captures Hurt at his best! The tracks were all recorded for the Library Of Congress, mostly on the stage of the Coolidge Auditorium, but with an intimacy that's very different than some sort of live or festival situation – as there's great resonance in the guitar, almost making the whole thing feel as if was a project for Takoma Records! The set features a massive 40 tracks in all – and titles include "Let The Mermaids Flirt With Me", "Trouble I've Had All My Day", "Pera Lee", "Walking The Floor Over You", "Nobody's Dirty Business", "Candy Man", "Richland Woman Blues", "I Got Mine", "Good Morning Miss Carrie", "Poor Boy A Long Way From Home", "Blessed Be The Name", and "I'm Satisfied". Source, 1979. Near Mint- ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Chuck Brown and his Soul Searchers group are past the arch jazzy funk of their days on Sussex Records – and they're heading more towards that ensemble sound that would drive the DC Go Go scene in the early 80s. The formula is heard to best effect on the big hit "Bustin Loose", an old school party funk jam that you'll probably recognize immediately – and which put Chuck and the group firmly back on the map for another few years! The group also does a pretty good remake of "If It Ain't Funky", which was on one of the earlier Soul Searchers albums – and the album includes the original cuts "Gotcha Now" and "Game Seven". Way way way more than just another book of album cover images – and instead, a stunningly huge volume that offers up key images from the disco generation, plus a wealth of knowledge and information too! Liveright, 2015. New Copy ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
A hefty book on the great Otis Redding – one of the best soul singers of all time, even though he left this planet all too soon! Art Yard (Germany), 1994/2015. New Copy ... $71.99 72.00
An incredible book on Sun Ra & The Arkestra – one that's got all the beauty and heft of one of his rare albums on the Saturn Records label! This is the second edition of Omniverse (the first went out of print almost 20 years ago, and now goes for fabulous sums) – and it's even bigger than the first, with a stunning amount of words, notes, photos, artwork, and images of vintage records – all pulled together to represent the "omniverse" promised in the title! The book begins with a long history on Ra and his music, along with all the complicated business practices that accompanied it – then goes on to include pages and pages of wonderful photos, by Val Wilmer and author Hartmut Geerken – alongside other writings on Ra's music by Chris Cutler, Salah Ragab, Robert Campbell, Amiri Baraka, and others – before then diving into a huge discography on Ra-related recordings – with images on pre-Saturn singles and 78s, releases on Saturn and other labels, and lots more session information too – then ending with a huge amount of images of vintage record covers and other Ra releases, plus rare handbills as well. The whole thing is as big as the biggest coffee table books you'll find – but a lot more interesting overall – and the presentation is top-shelf all the way through! Expensive, but totally worth it even if you've only got a minor interest in Sun Ra – over 300 pages, full color, and lavishly printed. Book

That's marred for life, not married for life – a very fitting title for this cool book that features strangely-altered record covers that collector Greg Wooten has discovered over the years! Some have a fair bit of new artwork – as in the brilliant Billy May cover on the cover – others are more casual, sometimes slapdash – but together, the images in the book work as a brilliant document of the way that people interact with records at a level that goes way past just listening to music! People own records, and make them part of their landscape – and that sometimes involves transforming the covers with their own touches – either augmenting the original artwork, or inscribing them with a sense of possession, or maybe making some sort of lewd commentary on the image. Here, Lomax returns to that role with the important American Patchwork project in the late 70s and early 80s – recordings that were not initially his idea, but which revived his talents in a tremendous way, to document a rich array of blues and rural musicians who were still out there, working far from the spotlight, the radio, and the record labels – even in an era of greater mass communication. The scope of the sounds here is wonderful – every bit as rich and important as earlier Lomax projects – and the package features 24 field recordings, by artists who include Joe Savage, Sheila Kay Adams, Janette & Joe Carter, Boyd & Ruth May Rivers, Clyde Maxwell, Vaughn Eller, Dennis McGee, Holly Springs Sacred Harp Singers, Napoleon Strickland, Moving Star Hall Singers, Ray Hicks, Nimrod Workman, Canray Fontenot, and RL Burnside – the last of whom might well be the only person here who got more exposure in later years. LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Leroy AndersonComplete Christmas Collection (Christmas Carols/Christmas Festival) ... CD
Decca/Real Gone, Late 50s. New Copy 2CD ... Out Of Stock
Two full albums of orchestral Holiday instrumentals from Leroy Anderson – the midcentury composer/conductor who has a knack for playful, creative combinations of sound! Both the records here have Anderson in maybe the straighter side of his spectrum – partly respectful to the needs of a Christmas Record – but the orchestrations make some nice magic out of a set of short tunes that mix the more spiritual songs of the season with a few secular numbers too – all handled with that kind of elevated style for the more sophisticated living rooms of the postwar years. Titles include "Patapan", "Pastores A Belen", "Wassail Song", "Angels In Our Fields", "Away In A Manger", "The Coventry Carol", and "March Of The Kings" – and both albums begin with a long "Christmas Festival" medley. CD also features mono and stereo versions of "Sleigh Ride" – a tune that was one of Anderson's biggest hits! CD

Aurum (UK), 2014. New Copy ... Out Of Stock
A really cool look at albums that never happened – planned projects that were almost produced, but which fell apart at some point in the creative process – leading to a surprisingly large legacy of lost albums by some of rock music's biggest stars! Sure, everyone knows a few of these – like The Beach Boys' Smile – but this book opens the door to lots lots more – including projects by The Kinks, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Buffalo Springfield, Madonna, The Sex Pistols, Beastie Boys, and many more. Best of all, the book presents the albums almost as if they actually existed – in short sections within larger chapters that each feature an imagined cover, projected release dates, and a short section that tells the story of the record – which often features a "what happened next" sidebar to show where the creative process landed. The great presentation really helps illuminate the material – and the book is 256 pages, in color throughout. Book

An incredible companion to the book Enjoy The Experience – and like that volume, a set that's filled with gems from the obscure sides of the American recording industry – vanity and privately pressed records that are plenty darn groovy, and pretty darn funky in all the right spots! The book is a painstakingly researched collection – and this soundtrack is just as carefully put together – with a great range of styles – heavily steeped in freaky funk, upbeat boogie, acid folk, offbeat psych, and trippy jazz! The range of sounds is really wonderful – with a feel that's somewhere between a Trunk Records or Finders Keepers compilation – and titles include "Intro (Excerpt)" by The Muzzy Band, "Spacing Out" by The Invaders, Diska Limba Man" by Medico Doktor Vibes, "Music Slave" by Jade, "White Panther" by Arcesia, "Never Come Back" by Boa, "ESP Switch" by Michael Farneti, "6.4 = Makeout" by Gary Wilson, "Just To Say Goodbye" by Russ Saul, "Cadillac Woman" by Stephen David Heitkotter, "Piledriver" by Dennis The Fox, "Old Time Feeling" by Circuit Rider, and "666" by Ray Torske. Capitol, Late 40s/Early 50s. Used ... Just Sold Out!
Legendary early work from trumpeter Miles Davis – late 40s sessions for Capitol Records that are completely different than the bop material he was cutting with Charlie Parker and on his own! Instead, these sides have Miles working with a complex, more arranged style – built up with a young Gil Evans, in a mode that prefaces the later famous recordings the pair would make in the late 50s for Columbia. Here, the tracks are shorter, but beautifully blend bop ideas with fuller arrangements – and Davis blows alongside other key young modernists in a variety of larger groups – with work from Lee Konitz on alto, Gerry Mulligan on baritone sax, JJ Johnson and Kai Winding on trombones, Al Haig and John Lewis on piano, and Kenny Clarke and Max Roach on drums. Mulligan contributed plenty, too – his ideas on an overall sound definitely helped shape these sides – and the record's go on to legendary status – even though it's very different than most other Miles Davis from the time. Now Again, Early 70s. New Copy ... $7.99 17.98
Raw, rumbling outsider psych from Stephen David Heitkotter – a wild and raucous stream of rambling genius from the early 70s! There's a loose, bluesy approach at the core – with long songs and a disquieting, yet engrossing mood that makes the set one of the most compelling lost rock records of the early 70s. This amazing set of Cali bedroom psych (literally – it was recorded in a bedroom) has built up a deservedly lofty legacy in collectors circles, but it's also something of a mystery – which is what makes this Now Again issue such a treasure. The whole package has been very well researched, and long unanswered questions about Heitkotter and the recording(s) are answered at long last – in a solid booklet of of notes by Eothen Alapatt with rare photos, and an even rawer batch of bonus material. Titles include "Hangin All Night", "I Don't Mind", "Quaker Dog Got Away", "Cadillac Woman" and "Fly Over The Moon" – plus 6 more untitled tracks/demos. Amazing! CD

"Mono" might seem to be a strange word to use in relation to the music of Linkwood – as his sets always have a very spacious, stretched-out sort of sound – one that's hardly the stuff of a one-channel recording! Yet here, Linkwood strips things down in a nice way – almost offering an 8-bit version of his fuller sounds from other records – using some lean, 80s-styled instrumentation – plenty of beats and keyboards, served up on these short tracks that move between upbeat groovers and a few more mellow moments! Kent/Dolemite, Early 70s. New Copy ... $5.99 12.98
Rudy Ray Moore cut some mighty raunchy records in his time – but this one may well the be the raunchiest, and maybe the funkiest too! The album's an instruction of "the proper way to make love to a lady" – but done in true Rudy Ray style, with very down-to-earth language that really takes off from the first few sentences – serving up an array of explicit descriptions and references to body parts that make the most hardcore hip hoppers seem like they're singing nursery rhymes! The music is wonderful, too – very funky congas and drums, pounding away behind the vocals, with some funky guitar touches too – all at a level that really makes the raw lyrics move. Parental Guidance is highly recommended – but that's also part of the pleasure of the record, too! CD

An insanely fantastic package – one that adds to the all-too-small recorded catalog of this legendary group – a combo who were together for only a short time, but really set a new fire for free jazz on both sides of the Atlantic! All material here has never been circulated before, and it's very much on a par with the group's famous ESP album, and other records that have come out over the years – with performances by a core trio of Roswell Rudd on trombone, John Tchicai on reeds, and Milford Graves on drums and percussion – plus work from a shifting array of musicians who include Lewis Worrell and Reggie Workman on bass, Alan Shorter on trumpet, and even Amiri Baraka offering up a bit of spoken material. The limited, numbered set comes in a handmade white birch box, which also includes a 156 page hardcover book that's filled with archival photos, notes, and other images. John O'HaraPal Joey (paperback) ... Book
Penguin Books, 2016. New Copy ... $4.99 16.00
The stories that inspired the legendary Pal Joey musical and film – but almost even more amazing on their own! The book came out of a series of short pieces that John O'Hara wrote for the New Yorker – done as letters from a low-level singer on the road to a pal back in New York City – telling tales of the ins and outs of the music industry at the start of the 40s, with more than a few tangles with the mob, as well as a fair bit of females as well! What makes the book work is not just the letter style, but the "voice" of Joey – something the songs and scenes of the later productions never got quite right – because O'Hara's original here offers a fascinating insight into the way music was made in the prewar years – at a time when live entertainment held sway much more than records or broadcasting. Plus, this version of the book also features the libretto for the musical by O'Hara, as well as the lyrics to all the songs by Lorenz Hart! Book

Verve (Japan), 1957. New Copy ... $13.99
A tremendous little set from guitarist Howard Roberts – recorded in the years before his better-known records for Capitol, and done in a looser, more relaxed mode! The setting's a quartet with Pete Jolly on piano, Red Mitchell on bass, and Stan Levey on drums – plus some especially sharp-edged tenor from Bill Holman, who rounds out the group to a quintet on about half the album's tracks. Holman handled arrangements on a few of the album's numbers, and Marty Paich on a few others – but the overall feel here is a lot less arranged than any of Roberts' later sessions – and is much more in the openly creative style of some of the best LA sessions for the Mode or Tampa labels during the same era. Titles include "Godchild", "The More I See You", "Easy Living", "Will You Still Be Mine", "All The Things You Are", and "Terpsichore". CD

Incredible work from the great Connie Smith – her sometimes-overlooked material recorded in the mid 70s for Columbia Records – work that shows a completely different side of Connie's talents than her better-known sides for RCA! Here, Connie's a mature woman who's clearly lived a lot of life – maybe singing in a bluer sort of shade than on her brassy early work for RCA – given superb backing that's all-country, all the way through – not a watered down attempt to hit the country rock or adult contemporary crowds, but instead this sophisticated style that really suits the fantastic arrangement of material in the package – songs by some of the best songwriters that 70s Nashville had to offer, arranged and produced with a superb sound throughout. The package features material from the albums Lady Named Smith, God Is Abundant, That's The Way Love Goes, I Never Knew What That Song Meant Before, I Got A Lot Of Hurtin Done Today, I Don't Want To Talk It Over Anymore, Hank Williams Gospel, and The Song We Fell In Love To – plus the Christmas Album Joy To The World. A key slice of work from the too-short career of the legendary Hank Williams – recordings he did for a regular radio show sponsored by Mother's Best Flour in Nashville during the year 1951 – a time when Hank was riding high with his talents, before leaving our planet all too soon! The work here is a nice change from some of Williams' studio records, and his other live performances – as there's a relaxed, easygoing quality that really gets at the kind of charms that set Hank apart from the rest – and which must have been wonderful coming into a home over a broadcast show like this! Because the show was regular, Hank didn't just perform his hits, but also handled a wider range of material – which makes the Mother's Best recordings so important to his catalog – as together, the tracks offer up almost as much as he recorded for MGM on record. Parlophone, 1970. New Copy 2CD ... Out Of Stock
A hell of a package, even if you consider yourself a David Bowie completist – as the set brings together different strands of his music from the relatively "lost" year of 1970 – a brief time when Bowie wasn't issuing much in the way of records, yet still staying very alive at a creative level! One of the key parts of this set is the performances for the TV production The Looking Glass Murders (aka Pierrot In Turquoise) – an unusual theatrical performance that has these beautiful spare tunes sung by Bowie, often with just piano or guitar. There's also two different broadcast performances, both of which are way more than just live material of singles – a full long Sunday Show performances on the BBC, from February 1970 – and a shorter Sounds Of The 70s performances from March of 1970. Also great are a number of rare Mercury singles that came out during the year – including alternate mixes, promo mixes, and other versions of songs that were not on albums – some of which are also presented here in extra 2020 mixes. The whole thing comes in a very cool book-style cover – with lots of photos, including some from the shoot for Man Who Sold The World (the dress cover), and notes on the entire year and all the music. Titles include "Threepenny Pierrot", "Columbine", "Harlequin", "Fill Your Heart", "Karma Man", "Amsterdam", "Buzz The Fuzz", "Waiting For The Man", "London Bye Ta Ta (1970 stereo mix)", "Memory Of A Free Festival (single version parts 1 & 2)", and "Holy Holy". Early genius from these Bay Area stalwarts – one of the greatest rock records of its time! Surrealistic Pillow is the second Jefferson Airplane album, but they took a number of huge creative leaps in the 8 months or so between their debut record and this one. This one is where they're joined by psych siren Grace Slick, but it's not just the line-up change that sets it apart. Surrealistic Pillow is a perfect title, as it's comforting and disorienting at the same time. It's also the magical confluence of wildly different spirits – with standout contributions by the entire band. Titles include the seminal "White Rabbit" – plus "Embryonic Journey", "3/5 Of A Mile In 10 Seconds", "DCBA 25", "How Do You Feel", "Today", "She Has Funny Cars", and "Plastic Fantastic Lover". LP, Vinyl record album
(Orange label pressing, LSP 3766. Cover has ring and edge wear, half split seams, and clear tape holding the spine.)

✨✧ Gilles Peterson & Stuart BakerCuba – Music & Revolution – Original Album Cover Art Of Cuban Music ... Book
Soul Jazz (UK), 2020. New Copy ... Out Of Stock
A beautiful book of ultra-rare album cover art – Cuban records from the 50s through the 90s – a fair bit of which were never available here in the US market! The book follows similar projects by Stuart Baker under the Soul Jazz imprint – but this one is maybe even more essential, as so many of the albums are so unfamiliar – picked by Baker and DJ Gilles Peterson, who's had close ties with the Cuban scene for decades, and has managed to grab records that none of us would ever be able to get our hands on! The book is super-heavy – full color glossy pages, most with 12" reproductions of album art, mixed with occasional notes that track the change in styles, scene, and politics over the decades in Cuba – penned by Baker with the depth of his notes for Soul Jazz compilation releases. The book is 255 pages, and features way more album covers than that – all with dates of release and other details – and wrapped up in a super-heavy hardcover. Book

✨✧ Richard & Linda ThompsonHard Luck Stories 1972 to 1982 (8CD set) ... CD
Universal (UK), 1970s/Early 80s. New Copy 8CD Set ... Out Of Stock
A fantastic collection of work from one of the most unique teams in British music during the 70s – Richard and Linda Thompson, first recording here in a romantic partnership, then together in the studio but separate in life – moving through a musical journey that is captured brilliantly in their songs! The package features the full albums I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight, Hokey Pokey, Pour Down Like Silver, First Light, Sunnyvista, and Shoot Out The Light – plus a full CD of live material from 1975 and 1977, another CD of unreleased tracks – and unreleased bonus and live material added to each individual album. ✨✧ Jonny Trunk/Jerry Dammers (intro)Music Library – Graphic Art & Sound (revised & expanded) ... Book
Fuel Design (UK), 2005. New Copy ... Out Of Stock
An incredible guide to sound library music around the world – one that features artwork from countless different labels, and brief notes on their history and output! The package is quite unique – not really a discography, not really an art book – but kind of a mix of both – and the only resource so far we've seen for tracking down the elusive musical gems that have come out of sound library sources of the 50s, 60s, and 70s! The book lists hundreds of records from 230 different labels – each presented alphabetically, with information and history on each label – alongside a huge amount of color images of the covers that are as beautiful as the music contained within. Trunk Records head Jonny Trunk put the whole thing together – and this huge second edition is twice as big as the first – really showing the full scope of new information on some of the more obscure labels that have come into play in recent years. 248 pages, hardcover, full color – and beautiful! ✨✧ VariousOriginal Blues/Risque Blues – It Ain't The Meat – Original King Recordings ... CD
King/Gusto, Late 40s/Early 50s. New Copy ... Out Of Stock
Raw, raunchy sounds – all pulled together from a time before soul and rock even existed! Most of the work here is from the classic catalog of King Records – a killer imprint in the postwar R&B market, and a company who wasn't afraid to do what it took to make a knockout record! In the case of these tracks, the singers often hit some fairly suggestive material – often hidden in early 50s innuendo, but barely so – with a vibe that's often nastier than even the most hardcore rockabilly sounds to come! The music here has its roots in blues, but is inflected with plenty of jazz, and the presence of the singers often point the way towards soul music – especially the James Brown crowd that would later rise at the same label. Titles on this volume include "It Ain't The Meat" by The Swallows, "Salty Dog" by The Lamplighters, "Ride Daddy Ride" by Orvill Fats Noel, "The Walkin Blues" by Fluffy Hunter, "Your Love Keeps A Workin On Me" by Lula Reed, "I Knew He Would" by The Shars & Flats, "Wasn't That Good" by Wynonie Harris, "Shake That Thing" by Wynonie Harris, and "Roll Roll Pretty Baby" by The Swallows. ✨✧ Willie MitchellIt's Dance Time ... LP
Hi Records/Fat Possum, 1965. New Copy (reissue)... Out Of Stock
It's Dance Time, Memphis style – thanks to a hip album of instrumentals from the great Willie Mitchell! This one's actually a bit rougher around the edges than some of Willie's other work, with strong guitar and groovy organ, very much in a Booker T & The MGs mode! The tracks groove along with a sound that's more Stax than Hi – which is ok by us, as the feel is nicely raw and raunchy! Titles include "Morning After", "Buster Browne", "Poinciana", "Twine Time", "Apple Jack", and "Wiggle Rock", "Fever", "Woodchopper's Bal" and more. LP, Vinyl record album
