A well-done overview of Brazilian music – one that's certainly not comprehensive, but which is very nicely tuned to the styles that we love! The 3CD set is divided up into different categories for each disc – so that disc 1 features "classic Brazil", the older bossa and jazz-styled numbers that still play well in the current groove scene; disc 2 features "Brazil now", some of the best of the new wave of artists who've succeeded in mixing styles and influences strongly; and disc 3 features "Brazil club", the more dancefloor-oriented sound of Brazil, especially as it's shown up in the better aspects of the European scene in recent years. The package features 33 tracks in all, all hand-picked by London DJ Martin Morales – with titles that include "Zanzibar" by Sergio Mendes, "Nana" by Deodato, "Chamega" by Tom Ze, "Batuque" by Bebeto, "Azul Bahia" by Joyce, "Agora Ou Nunca Mais" by Ana Mazzotti
, "Nao Para" by Bid, "Os Oculos Escuros De Cartola" by Max De Castro, "Umbabarumba" by Grupo Batuque, "Amor Errado" by Fernanda Porto, "Esperanca" by Bruno E, "Magnifica" by Zeb, "Corsa Notturna" by Vuca, "Un Bom Motivo" by Funkestra, and "In The Mood For Bossa" by S-Tone.
