Gianni FerrioIl Killer (with bonus tracks) ... CD
Beat (Italy), 1969. New Copy ... $14.99 18.99
A definite killer from the great Gianni Ferrio – one of his grooviest soundtracks ever, and a set that's filled with lots of mod 60s touches! There's a bit of electric sitar, cool bubbling Hammond, and even some jazzy horn parts that make for nice flourishes over the top – all changing up in cool and different ways from track to track – creating the kind of instrumental variety that we love in soundtracks like these! The album features vocals on two tracks – and titles include "Strana Gente", "Mr Ice Cream Again", "Week-End On Ice", "Billy's Ice Cream", "Pedigree", "Semifreddo", "Nuovi Ricchi", and "Fino All'Ultimo Gelato". CD also features 16 more bonus tracks – practically a whole extra album of music! CD
(Limited to 500 copies.)

✨✧ Gianni FerrioQuei Disperati Che Puzzano Di Sudore E Di Morte ... CD
Digitmovies (Italy), 1969. Used ... Out Of Stock
A western soundtrack with a different twist – one that definitely shares some of the darker aspects of the crime score work by Gianni Ferrio! There's a few hard-driving themes, but most of the tracks are pretty spare, short, and moody – almost melancholy at points, with great spare instrumental lines on guitar or flute, occasionally augmented with a bit of strings – but in ways that differ from more familiar western modes. Surprisingly rich stuff – and this special edition from Digitmovies is loaded up – including the complete film score in mono as the first half, and the the stereo soundtrack as it was originally released as the second half of the disc – a really nice approach to give a more complete presentation! The score half of the CD includes 18 sequences off the Quei Disperati, and titles on the stereo soundtrack titles include "Uno Dopo L'Altro", "Notturno A Toiuca", "Oltre Il Confine", "Que Disperati", and "Alba Senza Speranza". 40 tracks in all!
