This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
An honest to goodness actual bossa nova session from Toquinho – one that's recorded during the 60s, and not one of his bossa-revival styled sets from later years! The Toquinho here is a bit more tender and tentative than in later years – playing acoustic guitar in a setting that evokes ... CD
The one and only solo album by Mario Telles – brother of the better-known Sylvia Telles, but an equally great bossa singer on his own! This rare date from the 60s features some wonderful arrangements by Baden Powell, Moacir Santos, and Astor Silva – all of whom bring Mario into some ... CD

A beautiful album from Miucha – the lovely bossa singer who recorded a few albums with Tom Jobim at the end of the 70s! The album's a much more mature effort than those records – with Miucha in the lead as a sophisticated, mature singer – working through a set of tracks that ... CD
14 track set features tunes that span a few decades of Brazilian music – stretching back to the 70s. Titles include "Deseperar Jamais" by Ivan Lins & Beth Carvalho, "Anos Dourados" by Tom Jobim & Chico Buarque, "Samba Pra Vinicius" by Toquinho & Chico ... CD
A mid 70s gem from the Tamba Trio! The record takes their core 60s sound of piano trio grooving and bossa harmony vocals, and gives it a strong 70s twist – with mellow production that flanges the style out a bit more, and arrangements that add in some extra instrumentation from the likes of ... CD
The French Antilles have been a huge source of influence on the global scene of the past few decades – especially during the big years of the zouk explosion, which opened up the island grooves to a huge global audience! But there's a much richer history of Antilles music that doesn't always ... CD
