Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Kokolo pick up a bit more of a Latin groove than usual – mixing it in with their fierce Afro Funk riffing, and making for a very sweet little tune! Little Bit Of Jazz/Space Age
Prelude, 1981. Very Good+
A classic early 80s groover by Nick Straker – not really as jazzy as you'd expect, but with some nice piano work that hints at use of the instrument in later house singles. "Space Age" is more of an electro track – with vocoded vocals and lots of keyboards. 12-inch, Vinyl record

One of the most romping tunes ever recorded by Prince – the kind of cut that was an instant dancefloor stormer back in the day, and still sounds mighty groovy all these many years later! BC, Early 80s. Very Good+
An excellent early 80s groover – and a cover of the Police hit, no less! The track takes the original song, and turns it into a space-infused club track – mostly instrumental on both sides, with the vocal chorus just floating around in the background. 12-inch, Vinyl record
