Ultimate Breaks & Beats Vol 24

LP (Item 9894) Street Beat, 1970s/1980s — Condition: Very Good+
Originally: 14.99
Nearly at the end, but the classics never stop – breaks so hard and heavy, they'll blow your crates apart trying to contain them! Nearly every one here is a classic – with key samples from the early Cold Chillin years that helped refine the sound of modern hip hop. Otis Redding's "Hard To Handle" is remixed to extended the break – and other titles include "Tramp" by Lowell Fulsom, "You Got What I Need" by Freddie Scott, "You Can't Love Me If You Don't Respect Me" by Lynn Collins, "Blind Alley" by The Emotions, "Expansions" by Lonnie Liston Smith, "You & Love Are The Same" by The Grassroots, and "Sneakin In The Back" by Tom Scott.  © 1996-2022, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Maroon label pressing with CSB etch. Cover has a small name in marker in back.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
