All the group members seem folded into the flow of the music – work from Andrew D'Angelo on alto saxophone, Ben Monder on guitar, Bill McHenry on tenor saxophone, and Marlon Browden on drums – guided by Anderson's vision with a sound that's very well rounded, thanks to the colors and tones provided by Monder's guitar – all at a very different level than you might have if a piano were in its place.
