Uniquely Yours EP

12-inch (Item 984401) Charnya, 1987 — Condition: Sealed

Features four tracks – extended and radio versions of "He's So Fine" and "Why Can't We Be".  © 1996-2021, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Grace's star was waning a bit by this point, but "Slave To The Rhythm" was one of her last big singles, not as compelling as earlier work with a more experimental approach, but recalling the wide washes of soul of some of her disco hits. 12-inch, Vinyl record

Sure, you've heard it a million times – but "I Will Survive" is one heck of a song, dammit! This original single features the 8 minute version of the cut – plenty for us! 12-inch, Vinyl record
Epic, 1978. Very Good
"Groove Line" is an uptempo number, in the mode of Heatwave's more clubby type funk – but we're partial to "Always & Forever", the group's incredible slow jam ballad, one of those late nite 70s cuts that never grows old! 12-inch, Vinyl record
Island (UK), 1981. Very Good (pic cover)
The big single off our favorite Grace Jones LP, driven by an irresistibly snapping Sly & Robbie rhythm, with a percolating, slick 80s groove. 12-inch, Vinyl record
