Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
A nice full length debut from Rare Moods – a pastiche of sample-based funky soul, righteous jazzy riffing and angular soundscapes! The album's inspired by all those soulful and funky characteristics that we dig crates hoping to find – propulsive, crackly beats, soulful vocals, and ... CD
If all airports sounded this great, we'd travel all the time! Copenhagen Airport is the 3rd in Rambling's exploration of the best grooves from the current Scandinavian scene – a host of tracks from Deeplay Records of the past few years, served up in a lively mix of soulful house and more ... CD
A very organic set of grooves – from the banana-produced packaging, to Spiritual Life-styled tunes on the set! The album does a great job of blending together on-location sound bits – recorded in Haiti and elsewhere – with a mixture of upbeat and mellow tunes that bubble over ... CD
A collection of Beatfanatic tunes and other tracks he's remixed – put together with enough depth to stand as a Beatfanatic album on its own! The European beat maker's touches are all over the set – which has a bristling, crisp sort of feel that's totally great – a style that's ... CD
As wonderful of an overview of the far reaching dancefloor soul, global jazzy funk and eclectic beatcraft of the Tru Thoughts label we could have hoped for – with standard setting numbers by Quantic, Alice Russell, Nostalgia 77, TM Juke, Bonobo and many more! It's 10th Anniversary that's ... CD
Last Electro-Acoustic Space Jazz Ensemble (Madlib)
A mad mix of spaced out jazz funk from Madlib – working here in a style closer to his benchmark Yesterday's New Quintet mode of forward looking band-based grooves – but also taking it even further and into deeper realms! The Last Electro-Acoustic Space Jazz & Percussion Ensemble ... CD
A dreamy dreamy little record – and one of our favorite discoveries in recent months! These guys are a cool little combo that uses vibes, piano, sax, and percussion to spin out grooves in a breezy 60s mode – not really mod, but more influenced by European jazz, a bit of bossa, and just ... CD
A stunning collection of deep house tracks – with a classic sound all around, and a very soulful groove that never lets up! Dr Bob Jones and Lofty put this one together, and the set features tracks from their own work with East West Connection, plus some of the best modern house groups in ... CD
Mad new work from Towa Tei – a stuttering blend of electro, two-step, and the kind of mixmaster production we've come to love from him! The beats are quite quirky – electronic and quickly stepping – and the range of influences at work get jumbled up even more than on some of his ... CD
Another whimsical jazzy beat party from Mr Scruff. Like earlier efforts, this one's filled with off-kilter and playful (but still groovy) samples and synth parts over nice breaks and funky drum patterns, with vocals on a handful of the cuts. Definitely from the leftfield of the spectrum, but with ... CD
