If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
The legendary Miguelito Valdes gets some great help on this sweet Verve session from Chico O'Farrill – whose backings really help freshen up the sound, and give the whole record a hip kind of 60s swing! Valdes had been recording for many years by the time of this date, but Chico's ... CD
A fantastic set in Vampi Soul's Gozalo series of tropical grooves from Peru – cumbia, mambo, boogaloo and other of the late 60s sounds that work together masterfully, and lay the groundwork for international salsa and other Latin styles to come! Gozalo Vol 4 features numbers by Coco Lagos, ... CD
Funky fusion with plenty of Latin touches – a really compelling set from the Nicaraguan scene of the 70s! The album's got the same criss-crossing of influences you'd hear in some of the best Bay Area projects of this type – no surprise since Jose Chepito Areas is a key member of the ... CD
The last album that Ismael Miranda cut with Orchestra Harlow – but an extremely strong effort that draws from all the great work they did together! Larry Harlow's still very firmly at the helm of the set – producing, arranging, and playing piano with the classic Orchestra Harlow lineup ... CD
A surprisingly nice album from the better half of Steely Dan! This one kind of got cut out immediately when it was issued in 1993, but it's got a heck of a lot of charm – and given the success and style of the re-formed Steely Dan's Two Against Nature, this one sounds pretty great when we ... CD
One of those records that should be an insane dark mess, given the look of the cover – but which turns out to be a surprisingly well put-together effort all the way through! Zappa does a great job of hiding behind his hair here – never acting with the pomp that a pop genius like him ... CD
