If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
The golden hits of The Drifters, but a set that mostly features on the group's great second chapter at Atlantic Records – a time when original singer Clyde McPhatter had left the group, and Ben E King and Rudy Lewis came in with a very different style in the lead! Lieber & Stoller were ... CD

Never-heard work by Ray Charles – a surprisingly great batch of tracks presented here for the first time – most recorded in the 80s, with work from the 70s and early 90s too! There's a nicely unified feel to the record – Ray's strong vocals really holding things together, and an ... CD
A great look at some of our favorite years in Jackie Wilson's music – that great late 60s/early 70s stretch when he was recording heavily on the Chicago soul scene – a great place to jump start his sound for a whole new generation! The period's kind of Jackie's second stretch for ... CD
Music from the Kingsmen, the Coasters, Gene Chandler, the Champs, the Beach Boys, the Dells, Tommy Roe, Jerry Butler, the Shirelles, Lee Dorsey, the Crests, DJ Thomas, Tommy Tucker, Gene Pitney, and more – 28 cuts in all. CD
There's no sense of "transition" here – as the album's an incredibly solid one, and stands with John Coltrane's best mid 60s work for Impulse – even if the session wasn't issued by the label until after his early death! The work builds strongly on the Love Supreme vibe – ... CD
Stan Getz and Kenny Barron – a perfect pairing on the famous People Time record! The album was recorded quite late in Stan's career, but it also represented a new flowering too – a wonderfully mature approach to tenor sax that mixed up all the dark corners and warm moments of previous ... CD
