If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
The standard here is pretty darn high – a wonderful batch of club tracks from Soul Source Production, aka Kenichi Yanai – done with help from Monday Michiru, Dimitri From Paris, Epo, and others! As with other Soul Source work, the spirit here is highly collaborative – a mood that ... CD

The funky sounds of the Mojo Club scene – all modern, and all electric, and a nice counterpoint to that club's famous compilations of older jazz and soul work. The set keeps the cross-genre spirit of the Mojo scene going nicely – blending older jazz, Latin, and soul influences into ... CD
The group's first, with production courtesy the great Gary Katz, who's put a fine touch on many Steely Dan LPs. While we were a bit dismissive of this effort at the time, it's kind of become a bit of a watershed in retrospect, the high water mark for the American Acid Jazz scene, if a bit ... CD
A great album of jazzy bossa tracks – with a bit more going on than the band's first one, and a larger lineup joining in on a lot of the tracks. Includes their great take on Sivuca's version of "Ain't No Sunshine", an acid jazz club classic – plus lots of other goodies like ... CD
