Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Jazz-meets-hip hop-meets-new grooves compilation put together by the folks at the Red Hot organization in the mid 90s. Titles include "Time Is Moving On" by Donald Byrd, Guru, and Ronny Jordan; "Stolen Moments" by United Future Organization; "This Is Madness" by The ... CD
The group's first, with production courtesy the great Gary Katz, who's put a fine touch on many Steely Dan LPs. While we were a bit dismissive of this effort at the time, it's kind of become a bit of a watershed in retrospect, the high water mark for the American Acid Jazz scene, if a bit ... CD
A great album of jazzy bossa tracks – with a bit more going on than the band's first one, and a larger lineup joining in on a lot of the tracks. Includes their great take on Sivuca's version of "Ain't No Sunshine", an acid jazz club classic – plus lots of other goodies like ... CD
First LP by this great Japanese group that mixes together jazz funk, acid jazz, and hard bossa sounds. Perhaps the purest of the Japanese groups to come out of the scene in the early 90's, with a tight stripped down jazzy feel that won them a lot of fame on both sides of the Pacific. Good tight ... CD
A mix of older electronic styles all filtered together nicely – and topped off by a few modern hip hop and cosmic soul touches! Slope's working here in the mode established by the "Komputa Groove" single – almost a recasting of the early 80s electro mode, but one that's all ... CD
A tremendous set from Jackie McLean – perfectly poised between his hardbop and modern years, with a set of compositions that are as great as the performances! The lineup on this one's a bit unusual – with Walter Bishop on piano, Blue Mitchell on trumpet, Paul Chambers on bass, and Art ... CD
