This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
We use the all-encompassing grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can
request a return
for a full refund.
Condition Notes
If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially
if it is release or packaging details,
or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the CD.
This might include, but isn't limited to, scratches, tracks that skip,
case/insert damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
An album that not only broke the bossa big in the US – but a set that also really helped transform the sound of the organ in jazz! Not only is the record a key meeting of bossa rhythms and jazz organ – transplanted hugely to the US after a big initial Wanderley run in 60s Brazil – ... CD
A really great live tribute to older bossa – performed by a host of key talents of the 60s, stepping out here with a strength to match their earlier work! The format is respectful and simple – mostly spare jazzy backing behind lightly-crafted vocals – all done in a way that's ... CD
A stunning lost bossa nova soundtrack! The score was penned for the 1967 film Garota De Ipanema (Girl From Ipanema), and although you've heard some of the tracks before in other versions, the overall album is very nice – and is a wonderful tribute to the early days of bossa nova! Jobim and ... CD
A rare bit of bossa nova from the early 60s – originally only issued in Argentina, but done with the warm grace and mellow groove of Brazil's best work at the time by Joao Gilberto or Carlos Lyra! Like both of those artists, Reginaldo Bessa's a poet in his approach to music – gently ... CD
A great return for the legendary Tom Ze – an artist who'd been brought back to prominence via the efforts of a Luaka Bop compilation – then given this great chance to record for the label on his own! The set's a great return to form for Ze – who sprung from this moment into a ... CD
There's only one brother in this funky little record – Finnish drummer Teddy Rok, who you might know from some great soulful sets from years back – working here in a lean style that blends funky drums with plenty of other spare instrumental touches! The set's a funk record that's fully ... CD
