If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
Funky soul from Scott Jacoby – one of the better songwriters to ever grace the Irma family of labels, working here with a nicely compressed sound that brings together a range of sounds! There's almost a Lenny Kravitz-ish feel here – but the overall instrumentation and grooves slide ... CD
Jazz funk session with a sound that's a bit more like some of the earlier Irma releases, and with a sound that might be best described as "classic" acid jazz (if we dare use such a term.) The group's got live drumming, keyboards, tenor, guitars, and trombone – and there's a female ... CD
One of Irma's modern soul combos, and a group that's got a nice urban contemporary sound, and a good smooth R&B feel. The tracks are all originals, and they're all in English – despite the Italian origins of the group. The lead male singer's got a nice raspy soul sound, and the group ... CD
The beat here is a bit less vintage than you might guess from the title – but Caterina definitely keeps things sweet – and the album's a nice batch of groovers that really keep up the best side of the Irma sound! Vocals are in Italian, and the rhythms are never too clubby – kind ... CD
A really great record, despite the somewhat mundane cover image – a set that might be more at home on Schema Records than Irma, given its warm jazzy feel and tight modal grooves! Instrumentation is mostly acoustic, although there's a bit of beats in the rhythms too – and the album ... CD
The glorious return of Don Carlos – Italy's house music stalwart, reporting here with some of his finest music in years! There's traces of ambient grooving on the album – but most of the tracks are in a no-nonsense, straight-ahead house type groove, still handled well by Carlos after ... CD
With a name like Soul Quality Quartet, these guys have got to be great – and they certainly live up to their promise with their excellent debut! We've been waiting for Soul Quality Quartet to release a full album for years – as we've enjoyed their singles and appearances on ... CD
Irma's first set of "popular fashion music", and a good batch of uptempo acid jazz tracks by some of their best artists. All the stuff on here's new, and the tracks include "Erom On" by Skin 4, "Personality" (V.I.P. Mix) by DJ Rodriguez, "The Murk" by Black ... CD
Very compelling work by this French producer – featuring a subtle set of tracks that mixes moody jazz with abstract modern rhythms – in a style that sort of feels like an update on the Blue Note "new thing" sound laid down by artists like Bobby Hutcherson, Andrew Hill, and ... CD
One of the best funk records to ever come out of England! Corduroy later devolved into a rock-ish kind of group – but on this debut album, they were a tight funky combo, with an organ and clavinet mod sound that still holds up damn well over the years. Their songwriting is great, and the ... CD
