This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
(Cover has a small sticker at the top left corner, small tear with a bit of peeling at the opening, some heavy wear at the spine, and a name in pen and another in marker in back.)
Very Good
Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean,
and not too dirty.
May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play,
but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep.
Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well,
with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song,
but never throughout a whole song or more.
This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times,
but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Latin Power is Latin Soul – and the album is one of El Gran Combo's best from the boogaloo era! The tunes are heavy on English language lyrics, and include a few great remakes of Anglo pop and soul tunes – all given a Latin Soul spin with plenty of heavy rhythms on the bottom, fierce ... Groovy! Julio Gutierrez is probably best known for his work on some of the early Cuban Jam Session LPs, but this great lost album from the late 60s has him leading a combo through a wild bunch of messed-up boogaloo and Latin Soul tunes that are just great! The band has a nice electric guitar, a ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great collection of some of Tito's best dancers for the RCA label – cut during the late 50s and early 60s, and featuring classics like "Ti Mon Bo" and "Ran Kan Kan", two of the cuts that really put Tito on the map! Other tracks include "Witch Doctor's ... LP, Vinyl record album
Killer Latin soul from one of the all-time greats – a collection of greatest hits from Mongo Santamaria, but a set that's every bit as essential as his full length albums for Columbia! Most of the cuts on the album were arranged by Mongo's key right-hand man – the great Marty Sheller, ... LP, Vinyl record album

Ahhhhh . . . The wonderful sounds of Joey Pastrana – the hip Latin Soul bandleader who was known to the kids as "Hot" Pastrana! This album's one of his best for Cotique – a strong mix of boogaloo numbers and straighter Latin tracks, all played with the kind of fire that was ... LP, Vinyl record album
An amazingly smoking set from trumpeter Arturo Sandoval – issued on a tiny label from Chicago, but easily one of his best records ever! The set captures Sandoval live in the Windy City, working with a tight combo that includes piano, guitar, and plenty of percussion – all stretched out ... LP, Vinyl record album

Stunning sounds from the early 70s Peruvian scene – a really unique take on the cumbia mode of the time, and one that's topped with plenty of psychedelic touches as well! In truth, the rhythms here are often as Cuban as they are Colombian – a really great hybrid of both, used alongside ... LP, Vinyl record album
