Top 30 USA – June 26 - 28, 1992
LP (Item 950934) Top 30 USA, 1992 — Condition: Near Mint-
(Includes inserrts for Hours 2 & 3, plus a letter to the station. Cover is stained on the bottom 5 inches.)
Near Mint - (minus)
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
One of Roy Ayers' greatest albums of the 70s – a set that tightens up the groove from previous Polydor productions, yet still keeps all the soul intact! An expanded version of Little Richard's one album for Okeh Records! The album's got a strong mix of soul and R&B – with Richard still working at the height of his powers from earlier years, yet also picking up some nice influences from 60s soul to hip his sound up a bit. The funk of ... LP, Vinyl record album

Jean Knight's classic – and a monumental album of funky female soul that was one of the best albums in the "second generation" Stax era, in the UK portrait cover! You probably know the title cut, as it was her biggest hit, and the inspiration for loads of "answer" songs ... LP, Vinyl record album
Excellent work from this smooth Chicago vocal group! The album may well be the best the group ever recorded – and it features some stellar ballad work produced with a nice spacey tone, almost in a Rose Royce mellow mode – by Jerry Butler's Fountain Productions team and by Clarence ... In the early 70s, Quincy Jones surrounded himself with some of the best young soul and jazz talent he could find, plus a few older pros – and the result was a great series of albums that spanned genres and created a whole new approach to modern R&B. A very cool little record from percussionist Big Black – and one of his hippest too! The record features only percussion by Black, plus bits of guitar by Anthony Wheaton – making for a set that's mostly raw, stripped-down percussion tracks – most of which are quite long, and have ...
