Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A stone 60s smoker from Mongo Santmaria – and a great little set that really lives up to its title! The "soul" reference points to the record's host of 60s soul tunes, which are given a hip Latin spin by Mongo – working here with killer boogaloo arrangements from the great ... Very groovy work – and one of the best-selling albums of the Latin Soul era! During the 70s, Ricardo Ray was best known for his salsa work – but back in the 60s, he was really swinging around in the early blend of boogaloo and shing-a-ling styles! The set's got a really frenetic feel ... LP, Vinyl record album

A nice compilation of South American covers of popular rock tunes by Los Yetis, Jimmy, Harold, Juancho Lopez, Ivan Dario Lopez, Juan Nicolas Estela, and Luis Fernando Garces. Songs include "Yellow Submarine", "Pretty Woman", "Wipe Out", "Hang On Sloopy", ... LP, Vinyl record album
A very groovy mix of Latin rhythms and late 50's "crime" themes – and a stunning example of the Liberty sound in action! Jack "Mr. Bongo" Costanzo plays hard conga and bongos with his orchestra, and the set includes killer themes like "Naked City", "Mr. ... LP, Vinyl record album
Excellent work from Randy Brown – a great singer with a massive talent for being both smooth and deep at the same time, something we'd reserve for a rare few, like Frankie Beverly or Teddy Pendergrass during their best periods. This album featuers Randy singing tracks written by Homer Banks ... LP, Vinyl record album
Very cool moog album with a Perry-Kingsley feel. That is, it's got sort of a sharp electronic sound, but with grooviness underneath that keeps the whole thing going along at a jaunty pace. At times, the electronic sounds will break down into a bunch of noise, and then jump into a swingin' poppy ... LP, Vinyl record album
