Glimmers Are Gee Gee Fazzi – Esta Si Esta No (daniel haaksman remix, in flagranti voc mix, in flagranti inst)

12-inch (Item 930636) Diskimo (Belgium), 2010 — Condition: Very Good

...

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Cotillion, 1979. Very Good+
A wonderful stepper from the enigmatic Wee Gee! "Hold On" begins with a spare spacey intro, then sneaks into a warm midtempo groove – stepping along underneath some incredibly soulful vocals by Wee Gee that remind us of the best that Teddy Pendergrass had to offer. Miss You/Far Away Eyes
Rolling Stones, 1978. Very Good+
A club crossover classic from The Rolling Stones – a track that surprisingly got the group onto the dancefloor in the late 70s, but which still held onto most of their best elements! Although sometimes panned as a cheap disco cash-in effort by some, the tune is actually pretty darn great ... 12-inch, Vinyl record

If you'd told us some years ago we'd be digging for these very 80s sounding singles by RFTW, we'd never have believed you, but their time has certainly come around, in spite of the silly costumes and gheri curls on the cover. 12-inch, Vinyl record
Stax/Fantasy, 1978. Very Good+
Earlier funk from The Bar-Kays – recorded back in the earlier part of the 70s when the group were recording for Stax, but issued here to cash in on the group's later fame on Mercury! The sound here is surprisingly like the group's later work – still in the heavy funk mode of their Stax ... 12-inch, Vinyl record

Four tracks on this killer cut from Ron Trent – a groove so tight, it might better be called "thumpin" instead of "dancin"! The basslines pound plenty hard on the Ed Nine remix – and the keys just start to swell in the middle – whereas on the Jordan Fields mix ... 12-inch, Vinyl record
