If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
A real turning point for Monday Michiru – a set that has the Japanese singer moving into more complex rhythms than some of the straighter soul of her initial releases – really keeping things interesting as she stretches out lyrically too! Monday arranged and produced most of the record ... CD
The long-overdue debut from Trina Broussard – a singer who first leapt onto the scene years back with her single "Love You So Much", but who never got the chance to release a full LP! Trina's time has finally come, though – and from the sound of the set, it's been worth the ... CD
A final proper album for Hidden Beach by Jill Scott – rarities and unreleased material from her time at the label – sounding as freshly emotional and timelessly soulful as all her other great work for the label! We must say, this is a set that lives up to the total – these are ... CD
An overlooked mid 90s set from The Brand New Heavies – not as hitbound as some of their earlier work, but still plenty darn great – recorded with a strong emphasis on the vocals, and a no-nonsense soul sound that's always refreshing! There's one or two instrumentals on the album, but ... CD
Omar's second album – a strong departure from the first! Unlike the first set, which Omar essentially recorded in his bedroom, this album's got the British soul genius working with much fuller production – a rich array of musical backings that really expand his style. The whole thing's ... CD
Fantastic work by Remy Shand – one of the best soul singers we've heard in years! Despite his hipster looks, Remy's got a solid sound that's all-classic, all the way – deep and warm, with all the soulfulness of classic work by Marvin Gaye or Al Green, produced to perfection in a ... CD
Great work from one of the freshest new voices around – the lovely Sy Smith! Sy's got a cosmically-inflected musical vision here – one that seems to borrow bits from the London and Philly underground, but deliver an overall groove that's got plenty of sunny soulful touches! Sy uses ... CD
A great package that sees the work of Incognito getting remixes and souped up a bit more – jazzy grooves gone dancefloor, served up by a host of great talents from the mid 90s. Titles include "Always There (MAW rmx 96)", "Givin It Up (Rober Sanchez Uplifting club mix)", ... CD
A great album gets even better – as Bluey and crew open the door, and let in a host of great guest talents to remix their impeccable Who Needs Love album! The set's got all the soulful magic of the original – a lasting groove that goes deeper than any of Incognito's recent albums, and ... CD
A box packed with nothing but cracking hard bop! All of Lee Morgan's seminal 50s sides for Blue Note assembled in one package, including the albums Indeed!, Volume Two, Volume Three, City Lights, the Cooker and Candy. Morgan's quite young on these sessions, but his voice is fully formed and he ... CD
Amazing work from Freddie Hubbard – one of his best albums ever! The title cut's a classic, but all cuts on the album are great – and really set a whole new standard for soul jazz in the 70s! Unlike the freer runs of Miles Davis, Freddie takes things into territory here that's open, ... CD
