Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A groovy batch of tight instrumental cuts from the T-Bones, including the hit title cut "Sippin' N Chippin'", plus "Forty Five (Colt 45 Theme)", "Tippy Toeing", 'Walkin' My Cat Named Dog", "Spanish Flea", "Sure gonna Miss Her", "The ... LP, Vinyl record album
One of the best late 60s albums by the Ventures – a lot more hard-wailing than usual – and done with a fair bit of influence from funk and soul music too! The title cut gives the album away nicely – as it's a cover of Cliff Nobles' classic funky 45 "The Horse", done ... LP, Vinyl record album
Nice groovy instrumentals from one of the best little combos of the 60's. The record includes their big hit "No Matter What Shape (Your Stomach's In)", plus a number of other tracks that have a similar "TV commercial" feel – like "Chiquita Banana", "Pizza ... LP, Vinyl record album
A soaring batch of rare tracks from the early years of Hawkwind – unissued titles and unusual versions – all of which stand strongly next to the work on their classic albums from the time! Titles include "Be Yourself (alt mix)", "Hog Farm", "Seven By Seven (alt ... LP, Vinyl record album
Plenty of surf number stepping out here – but often with that great second-chapter Beach Boys mode – that pre-Pet Sounds style that's often got some darker currents underneath! The pair are great in the lead, and get a bit of harmony support from The Fantastic Baggys – and some ... LP, Vinyl record album
A real oddity from George Harrison – a record of abstract electronics, cut right around the same time as his bigger mainstream solo hits! The record is a highly experimental one – a session that has Harrison working with Bernie Krause, and exploring territory that's much more in the ... LP, Vinyl record album
Led Zeppelin at their most sprawling – in both ambition and in the pacing – on the gargantuan Physical Graffiti! This is the album where they started bringing some odd synth textures to the sound, and it's to Zeppelin's eternal credit that this doesn't compromise their blues-reverent ... LP, Vinyl record album
