Sin Tiempo Ni Espacio

LP (Item 922451) Disc Jockey (Argentina), 1974 — Condition: Near Mint-

(Recent Mexican reissue on La Ciruela Electrica. Cover has a lightly bent corner.)

Near Mint - (minus)

  • Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
  • Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
  • One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so. These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play, but might detract from the looks.
  • May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record. (Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
  • May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
  • Possible minor surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Seeco, Mid 60s. Near Mint-
A great lost Latin session from the 60s! The album features a great little band, led by pianist Chuito Velez – and it includes an excellent (but uncredited) saxophone player who takes some wonderful solos. Many cuts feature vocals – either by Adalberto Santiago or Herbie Padilla ... LP, Vinyl record album

Orquesta Aragon

Me Voy Para La Luna
Musart, Early 60s. Good
Orquesta Aragon's set to hit the moon on this one – posed on the cover in front of a cheesy rocket ship, bags packed, and instruments ready to go. The album's one of the group's more obscure ones, but it features plenty of prime mid 60s jamming, and a set list that includes "Aladino" ... LP, Vinyl record album

Tito Puente

Dance The Cha Cha Cha
Tico, Late 50s. Very Good
One of Tito's classic 50's recordings for Tico, all of which have a much rawer sound than his work for RCA from the same time. The tracks on here represent some Tito's best work in the Cha Cha Cha format – played with a hard sound and a good percussive drive aimed towards a very appreciative ... LP, Vinyl record album

El Guayabero (Faustino Oramas)

Sones Del Humor Popular
Siboney (Cuba), 1987. Very Good-
Obscure recordings from Faustino Oramas – aka El Guayabero! Despite the date of the sessions, though, the material here is relatively traditional – a rootsy blend of percussion and guitar, topped by fast, clever vocals from El Guayabero – always presented in a relatively lively ... Terry Riley

Rainbow In Curved Air
Columbia, 1969. Very Good
One of Terry Riley's most enduring works, and a haunting record that contains two extended modal minimal jams – "Rainbow In Curved Air" and "Poppy Nogood & The Phantom Band". "Rainbow" features Terry interweaving cool keyboard lines on organ, electric ... LP, Vinyl record album
Atlantic, 1969. Very Good Gatefold
An album so heavy, it blew plenty of minds when first released at the end of the 60s! Dolton, 1962. Very Good
The Ventures were furiously productive in the early 60s – delivering gem after gem – and this is among the best!
