Judy Yoga Says – May I Direct You Through Hatha Yoga Postures?

LP (Item 919252) Audio Arts, 1972 — Condition: Near Mint-

(Cover has light surface wear.)

Near Mint - (minus)

  • Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
  • Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
  • One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so. These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play, but might detract from the looks.
  • May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record. (Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
  • May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
  • Possible minor surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Pepsi Cola, 1963. Near Mint-
A long spoken set that chronicles the story of African Americans from the days of slavery up through the 20th century. The album was produced by Pepsi, with a style that's kind of like a radio show – narration, plus sound effects, and some dramatized passages as well. LP, Vinyl record album

From hipster comedian to schlocky roles in The Planet of The Apes, Severn Darden was one of the 60s more enigmatic performers. Do The Love
ABC, Late 60s. Very Good+
Square-headed Bob Thiele tries to get a bit hip in kind of an olde-fashioned 1920's vein, with arrangements by Sid Feller, and some vocalizing by Steve Allen. Thiele plays a Selmer clarinet, and he's joined by The Sunflower Singers on a number of tracks. Cuts include "Jet Me To Frisco", ... LP, Vinyl record album

Mel Henke

La Dolce Henke
Warner, 1962. Very Good+
A wonderful bit of hipster tracks from the early 60s! Mel Henke was part Esquivel, part Pete Rugolo, part Ken Nordine, part Kenyon Hopkins – and one of the best, and most underrated of the late 50s/early 60s bachelor pad arrangers!
