This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Rare Brazilian funk from the early 80s – served up here on a range of tracks that originally appeared on Brazil's unique 7" compacto format at the time! During the mid 70s, some of the older New York soul indies were the first to get on the disco tip – and one of the biggest was Scepter Records, who found the burgeoning movement to be a perfect foil for some of its older vocal groups and singers. This set is a lost 1975 release on Scepter, ... LP, Vinyl record album

Not much of a cover – but a really great collection of grooves – of the sort that really takes us back to the first few home grown funky 45 compilations of the 90s! The set really goes for the best of the classic early funk 45 sound – tracks with hard drums, sharp riffing guitars ... LP, Vinyl record album
A fantastic collection of mellow 70s soul – one that's even better than you might guess from the cover or title! The tracks here are all pretty rare – hence the "wants list" title – but even more than that, they're a spectacular example of the best sort of sophisticated ... LP, Vinyl record album
Respect flows both ways here – not just respect for the Polish jazz scene that made some great music during the Communist years, but also respect for the global artists who inspired them – as you'll see in the setup of the collection! Most tunes here are covers – but they're done ... LP, Vinyl record album
Deep bluesy soul by the artist who scored big earlier in the 60's with "Hey Girl". Freddie produced this album, and wrote a number of the tracks, including "Out of My Mind", "I'll Be Leaving Her Tomorrow", and "Girl, I Love You". Much more righteous than ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great set from Patrice Rushen – very different than her later R&B work from the 80s! The record's her first, and at the time, Patrice was much more of a jazz artist – working here with a cool west coast set of players (Joe Henderson on tenor, Hadley Caliman on alto and soprano, ... LP, Vinyl record album
A definite Tasty Jam from Fatback – a set that bumps along wonderfully with lots of the bassy bottom grooves that made the combo so great! The style here's tightened up from the past, but still plenty great – almost a reinvention of the group's 70s funk for the old school scene – ... LP, Vinyl record album
A group so great and so groovy, they ended up having a huge influence on the early sound of hip hop – thanks to a wonderfully funky sound at the core of their progressive rock groove!
