No More Mr Nice Guy

CD (Item 915083) Wild Pitch, 1989 — Condition: Used
Out Of Stock

CD

The classic debut Gang Starr record on Wild Pitch – the first chapter in a long history of certified dope east coast hip hop – with Premier and Guru on point from the get go! Top shelf jazz and funk samples, nice snapping beats, intelligent lyrics and mic skills like you're find here and a few other Wild Pitch benchmarks from the period raised the bar for MCs and producers in the late 80s, and pretty laid the ground work for the greatest hip hop of the early 90s, too. DJ Premier is at an early peak on the production front, and this one has 45 King producting a couple tracks, too! 12 tracks in all, including "Manifest", "DJ Premier In Deep Concentration", "Positivity", "Jazz Music", "Gotch U", "2 Steps Ahead", "Knowledge", "Gusto", "Cause & Effect" and "No More Mr Nice Guy".  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Out of print.)

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD". This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer Used CDs in the best shape possible.

When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs — so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.

All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Give 'Em The Finger
Giant/Reprise, 1993. Used
Early 90s Trakmasterz boom bap production holds most of this LP together from Pudgee, one of the many side bars in the early 90s hip hop game. Def Jam, 1986. Used
