Fruwajaca Lalka (with bonus track)

CD (Item 914775) Inter Sonus/GAD (Poland), 1991 — Condition: Used
$11.99 ...

Cool keyboards from this underground figure in the Polish scene of the new freedom years – an artist who works here with a broad array of instruments, and in an all-electronic sound that seems to find a special place after late 70s and early 80s experiments from the German and UK scenes! The album's a sound library set overall – but most tunes are pretty discreet numbers, and have a mostly instrumental, melodic approach that makes them almost feel like electro pop – and mostly from a time that might be more early 80s than you'd guess from the date of the recording. Maybe that fact has to do with the nature of the Polish scene at the time – or maybe it's just that Wladyslaw Komendarek, before most of us, decided that the styles of the 80s were pretty great, and he was out to preserve them. There's a few vocals here, but most of the tunes are carried by the keyboards – and titles include "Piramida", "Czwarty Test"," Modlitwa", "Anielski Lot", "Odrodzenie", "WZ", and "Hymn Nieznanych Istot". CD also features a bonus 17 minute track – "Podziemne Miasto".  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD". This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.

80s keyboards sparkle and glisten wonderfully here – a mix of Roland, Yamaha, and Korg keyboards – all played by Mikolaj Hertel in a few very cool suites of instrumental tunes! The music is maybe an extension of 70s electronic sound library modes, but also colored with some of the ... CD
