Blue Chips 7000

LP (Item 905233) Atlantic/Vice, 2018 — Condition: Near Mint-

Action Bronson with a no nonsense approach on his second proper full length – also serving as an entry Blue Chips mixtape series – bringing a stripped to the core, rugged and raw style that's more than welcome at a time when he's a legit media personality when not spitting rhymes! The vibe is a nice mix of spontaneous and well crafted, with production not only by Party Supplies this time, but also Alchemist, Harry Fraud and Daringer. Includes "Wolfpack", "La Luna", "The Chairman's Intent", "Hot Peppter: feat Meyhem Lauren & Jah Tiger," Bonzai", "Let It Rain", "My Right Lung", "Tank" and "Durag Vs Headband" feat Big Body Bes, "The Choreographer" and "Chop Chop Chop".  © 1996-2020, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Orange vinyl pressing, including the insert.)

Near Mint - (minus)

  • Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
  • Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
  • One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so. These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play, but might detract from the looks.
  • May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record. (Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
  • May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
  • Possible minor surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

It Takes Two
Profile, 1988. Very Good
This might not be the most important or vital album in the history of hip hop – but it's got some indistibutable, unstoppable party jams all the same! Priority/Ruthless, 1990. Very Good
The blistering 1990 EP by NWA – a fanbase divisive and critically underappreciated salvo in its day, despite being a fast seller – and a much sharper piece of work than it was credited for back in the day! Ice Cube

Lethal Injection
Priority, 1993. Very Good
A sharp, angry salvo from Ice Cube! Cube's early 90s solo style was firmly established at this point, so Lethal Injection doesn't have the acknowledged classic status of his previous couple albums, but he's still close to his prime that it's well worth your dollar! Too Hard To Swallow
Jive, 1992. Very Good
The early 90s debut of UGK and early triumph for Pimp C & Bun B, even if it was a little bit ahead of its time! College Dropout
Roc-A-Fella, 2004. Very Good+ 2LP
Kanye West finally dropped the full length in early '04 – and it's one of the best hip hop albums of that year.
