An album that's way better than you might expect – not the easy cash-in on the film Some Like It Hot that's telegraphed by the cover – but instead a tight trad jazz date by trombonist Lou McGarity – done in some of the same mature modes as Jack Teagarden's work from the same time! The group's a quintet, with lots of room for Lou's bold solos in the lead – and other players include Dick Cary on trumpet and piano, Jack Lesberg on bass, George Barnes on guitar, and Don Marino on drums.
