This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play
without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove,
you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not,
then you may return it for a full refund.
With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of
surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be
clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we
handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted
otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so
look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.

A groovy little group from Brazil – arranged and conducted by Antonio Adolfo! The group's got a really wonderful sound that's part bossa nova, part French 60s pop, and very much in the style of work by Marcos Valle from the late 60s! Includes female lead vocals by Beth Carvalho, in some of ... CD
Soaring harmonies from this cool 60s Brazilian group – a real lost gem that's in the best Brazilian harmony tradition of the time! The set is similar to work by Os Cariocas, Tamba Trio, and other groups of that nature – soaring vocals over bossa rhythms – but it's also got an ... CD
Reissue of this extremely rare early bossa album by the man who was one of the leading instrumentalists behind many of the bossa era's best singers. The set's fairly mellow, and all instrumental. Menescal plays guitar, and other instrumentation includes vibes & piano. The tracks have a light ... CD
Japanese "40th Anniversary of Bossa Nova" release that reissues this classic early set of tracks by the Brazilian guitar genius Luiz Bonfa. The material's not necessarily bossa nova, but it's got a lot of the lightness and breeziness that made Bonfa's playing a huge inspiration for the ... CD
A beautiful set of duets from 60s samba stars Elizeth Cardoso and Ciro Monteiro – released in collaboration with the Bossaudade TV show! The sound here is light and lively – with backing from Caculinha and his combo, who mix together acoustic samba rhythms with a nice touch of electric ... CD
A haunting 1971 session by Nara Leao – and one that has a moody European take on the bossa! Part of the album was recorded in Paris, and it's got a dreamy quality that evokes 70s recordings by some of our favorite European singers – particularly some of the more sophisticated ones on ... CD
