Electroconvulsive Therapy Vol 2 - Fuzz Dance
LP (Item 887404) Medical, Early 80s — Condition: Near Mint-
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Here's a disco we'd love to go to – one that's filled with tripped-out, fuzzed-up rarities from the European scene at the end of the 60s! Most of the artists here are very much in keeping with the "psychedelique" in the title – showing a definite influence from the headier ... LP, Vinyl record album
A promo compilation from Rhino Records, put out to promote the "old school" reissues they were doing at the time – with cuts that include "It's Just Begun" by Jimmy Castor, "Let's Get Crackin" by Shock, "Bustin Loose" by Chuck Brown & The Soul ... LP, Vinyl record album
We know you're probably overstuffed with compilations of rare Italian grooves – but believe us, this one's a real standout! Not only does it have the kind of cool breezy material you'd expect from a comp like this, but it's also got a large number of tracks with a harder sound and heavy ... LP, Vinyl record album
Groovy compilation of rare Italian instrumentals – with a sound that's nice and loungey, with lots of organs, brassy grooves, and a mix of funk and easy styles that's very very fresh! When we first saw this, we were thinking "oh, just another Italian compilation" (even though we ... LP, Vinyl record album
Kind of a rock/soul album – recorded in Nashville, but with a sound that reminds us of some of the east coast mid 70s underground, particularly the funky groups on Buddah and Scepter that had a crossover sound. Some tracks are uptempo, with a club-heavy string section – and others are ... LP, Vinyl record album
Steely Dan really hitting the heights – moving into hipper, more sophisticated territory than before – pushing the envelope with both their music and lyrics, which are completely sublime! It's hard to put our finger on the magic of this one, but it's the perfect summation of everything ... LP, Vinyl record album
The first chapter in the career of one of the strangest forces in the New York club scene at the end of the 70s – the ultra-camp Cristina, an offbeat singer who mixed Brechtian angst with the punky funk of the Ze Records scene! Cristina came from a theater and academic background, and ... LP, Vinyl record album
