This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Percy Faith and his orchestra, already known for his take on Latin music, gives his take on the big sound of 62, bossa nova. Songs include "Aquarela Do Brasil", "Delicado", "Tu Sabes", "Batucada", "Amorada", "The Bandit", "Baia" ... LP, Vinyl record album
Tripped-out larger orchestrations that feature classical guitar by Williams, set alongside groovier 60s touches from arranger Stanley Myers! The sound is sometimes spare and spacey, sometimes full on and soaring – but at all points surprisingly revolutionary for the time, with a sound that ... LP, Vinyl record album
One of the few good exotica albums to ever come out on Columbia, and a nice set of orchestral pieces, with a slight eastern tinge, and the kind of arrangements that were being used by Les Baxter over at Capitol. A number of tracks have a groovy vocal chorus – and titles include "Temple ... LP, Vinyl record album
The Mystic Moods take a clever gimmick, and make it stick – using sound effects of rain and storms, as on other early albums, and mixing the whole thing with some really sweet instrumentals! The album features some great Don Ralke originals that get past the covers on earlier sides – ... LP, Vinyl record album
A pretty swinging batch of tracks that are very much in the same vein as Buddy Morrow's crime jazz LPs cut for RCA at the end of the 50s! The album features all TV themes from the time, most of them detective ones – like "Richard Diamond", "Perry Mason", "Naked ... LP, Vinyl record album
