A dreamy exploration of south sea ideals from the great Les Baxter – a set that's got a more lightly drifting quality than some of his more percussive exotica albums, and which is awash in dreamy soundscapes penned by Les himself! The orchestrations are large and bold throughout – ... LP, Vinyl record album
Goofy stuff. Roger Price & Jeff Harris do a whole bunch of silly songs and skits about elephants, based on their "The Elephant Book". Kind of kid-oriented, but with some ironic twists sure to appeal to the "adult crowd". LP, Vinyl record album
MacArthur Park has Floyd taking on a hip host of tunes from the late 60s – cool rock and pop numbers that are really transformed strongly in the RCA studio blend of pillowy piano and soft orchestrations from arranger Bill McElhiney! Cramer's got that mellow-stepping groove just right, and it' ... LP, Vinyl record album

A lost lounge gem from the RCA catalog – with a dreamy exotica feel that's right up there with the best of the bachelor pad era! Gerald Fried arranged and conducted this ersatz studio group, and his overall approach has lots of sweeping woodwinds and percussion, similar to the great Les ... LP, Vinyl record album
Sublime work from Frankie Beverly and Maze – smooth, mellow, and perfectly put together, with a level of care and class that you'd be hard pressed to find in many of the group's contemporaries! The album's not one of the group's most famous, but that makes it even more of a treat, as you'll ... LP, Vinyl record album
In "back", the title is pointing to the fact that Gene Ammons is back on the scene, after being released from 7 years of a tragic 15 year narcotics sentence in prison. The album marks a proud return for Jug – who'd not recorded since a very successful flurry of sides recorded in ... LP, Vinyl record album
