Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play
without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove,
you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not,
then you may return it for a full refund.
With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of
surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be
clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we
handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted
otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so
look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.
The quirky 80s downtown club scene lives again in this chilling post-disco collection from Strut! The set's got a similar feel to the 9 O'Clock Drop set on Nuphonic – and fits in nicely with the rediscovery of groups like ESG and 23 Skidoo. The cuts are extremely hard to pin down – a ... CD
Disco grooves from a source you might not expect – the Japanese scene of the 70s, which was home to a surprisingly strong array of records that were perfect for the clubs! In retrospect, maybe the music's not such a surprise – given that 70s Japan was also a hotbed of electric fusion, ... CD
The funkiest work we've ever heard from the mighty P&P family of labels – a set that's quite different than the usual disco, club, and soul we know from Patrick Adams and Peter Brown – served up in a host of rare funky 45s and a few key 12" singles! The sound here is deep, ... CD
A beautiful collection of mellow soul grooves from the 70s! The artists are all pretty well known, and you'll probably recognize more than a few tracks – but the overall package is great, and the cuts are put together to make the kind of a set that you can just put on and leave playing the ... CD
An excellent collection of tight modern soul and funky uptempo numbers – cuts that aren't really disco, but which are smoother than the usual funk you'd hear on the Jazzman label – a really unique hybrid that's hand-picked by the mighty Fryer! Lots of the grooves here have a cool indie ... CD
A terrible title – but a great package of tunes! The set brings together some of the more groove-heavy tracks from the 70s catalog of Muse Records – a label that's not always known for its funkier side. The package features 9 full tracks in all – all with a great take on 70s ... CD
A sweet ride on the Disco Train – served up in a non-stop mix, built from a selection of classic cuts from the end of the 70s and start of the 80s – all of them some well-remembered gems from the dancefloor! Despite the "disco" in the title, the series also features some ... CD
Jimi Tenor looks shrunken in size on the cover, but that certainly hasn't happened to his music – which just seems bigger and more expansive on this wonderful release! The set's still very much in the spiritual jazz mode that Tenor's been touching for the past decade or so – but it ... CD
