60 Count Box of Random Bulk Vinyl

LP (Item 843809) ,  — Condition: Good
(€4.02 || £3.56 || ¥529) (approx.)

A completely random assortment of 12" records – both LPs and singles – some in good shape, some totally beat up! We make these boxes at random, and seal them tightly – and even we don't know what's in them. Keep in mind that this vinyl has been through the regular racks – and the Bargain Basement – and some of it might have defects, some may have damaged covers, and the vinyl will mostly likely be a mix of 12" singles and full albums. Think of the contents as "raw material" or "space fillers" – vinyl to be used for projects, decorations, or even things like art installations or set dressing. At less than a dime a record, the price is certainly right! (Given the nature of these bulk vinyl records, they cannot be returned. All sales are final.)  © 1996-2018, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Good

  • A record that you'd buy to play, cheap, but which you wouldn't buy for collecting.
  • Will have marks across all parts of the playing surface, and will most likely play with surface noise throughout. May have some other significant flaws, such as residue, or a track that skips.
  • In most cases, a poor quality copy of a very difficult to find record.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

One of the few cases in jazz where an oft-played classic still resonates with power! Polydor, 1973. Very Good- 2LP Gatefold
A masterpiece of funky soul – and one of the greatest albums of the early 70s! It all comes together on this one – funk, soul, politics, and production – and the record is still one of the clearest examples of James Brown's genius that you'll ever find! Recorded during the same ... LP, Vinyl record album

Polydor, 1973. Good+
Seminal early funk work from Roy Ayers! The record catches him at that perfect point when he was turning from a straight jazz player into a sinister force in 70s funk – and the group on the session includes super-hip soul jazz giants like Charles Tolliver, Sonny Fortune, and Harry Whitaker, ... They're not kidding with the title of this one – because although the record was only Wes Montgomery's second album as a leader, he was already making plenty of waves with the sound of his guitar! Blue Note, 1959. Very Good
A killer session from Horace's famous quintet that included Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Gene Taylor, and Louis Hayes – one of the group's earliest recordings for Blue Note – and also one of their best! RCA, 1971. Near Mint-
An excellent early record from this massive soul collective!
