If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
An excellent bit of smooth jazz funk – very much in the mode of some of the best recent projects on Expansion records, like The Jazz Steppers or some of the Incognito spinoffs. No surprise, since Bluey from Incognito conceived and produced the album, which is a tight instrumental session ... CD
An amazing set from Alison Crockett – a record that's as striking as the title and image on the cover! Alison's really come into her own here – emerging as a fully-formed soul star on her own – with no help from other remixers or soundsystems, just totally grooving on her own! ... CD
A sweet little album of modern bossa tunes from Japanese singer Bebe! The tracks are tight and jazzy – played by a small combo that includes vibes, guitar, keyboards, and percussion, plus an added string quartet on a few tracks. Bebe's vocals are great – lighter than some of the ... CD
An incredibly sophisticated album from one of our favorite modern soul singers! This stunning 2CD set goes farther than Monday Michiru's ever gone before – into territory that bridges together modern soul, jazz vocals, Latin rhythms, and a complicated set of emotional soundscapes that show ... CD
A monumental debut from Giles Deyampert – sure to be a key player in the sound of 21st Century Soul, and an artist with a sound that's as great as 4 Hero, Koop, Ursula Rucker, or any other artists of that elite rank! Like those we dare mention in the same breath, Deyampert has a great talent ... CD
A brilliant solo debut from Tuomo – a singer we know from his work with the Finnish group Quintessence, stepping out here in even more soulful territory on his own! Tuomo's got a warmly raspy sound that's all-classic, all the way – a unique voice that could well become one of our ... CD
An album dedicated to Donald Myrick – a fellow Chicago saxophonist of Mitchell's, an early member of the AACM, and most famously, a key member of Earth Wind & Fire! The session has a more laidback feel than some of Roscoe's other work, and features a quartet with Jodie Christian on piano ... CD
A great set of spacey jazzy grooves – and a rare album that was deleted immediately from the Acid Jazz catalog due to some copyright troubles! The album's quite different than a lot of the other ones on the Acid Jazz label – with a spacey soul sound that's a sweet blend of classic 70s ... CD
One of the most mindblowing sets ever from organist Reuben Wilson – his last session for Blue Note, and a much more ambitious record than before! The style here is more Cadet Records concept than the usual smaller combo groove of other Wilson sides for Blue Note – as Reuben's organ is ... CD
