Quinaimes Band

LP (Item 836715) Elektra, 1971 — Condition: Very Good+
(White label promo pressing in the textured cover, with folded insert and Elektra inner sleeve. Cover has light wear and a cutout hole.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

LA Woman
Elektra, 1971. Very Good+
Maybe one of our favorite Doors records of all time – if only for the long Fender Rhodes solo by Ray Manzarek on the album's final track, "Riders On The Storm"! Yet the whole album is pretty darn great, too – the last to feature Jim Morrison, who would leave the planet ... LP, Vinyl record album

Gulliver

Gulliver
Elektra, 1969. Very Good
A group we only know from this one album on Elektra – but one that also features great lead vocals from the young Daryl Hall, who often harmonizes along with the group's guitarist Tim Moore – with the kind of soulful currents that point the way towards his later duo recordings! ... Queen

Queen
Elektra, 1973. Near Mint-
The start of a legendary run of records from Queen – a set that's maybe not as archetypically the group's work as mid 70s albums to come – but which is still a hell of a way to put themselves out for the rest of the world to hear! The intensity of their musical performance is already ... LP, Vinyl record album
Elektra, Early 70s. Near Mint- Gatefold
A record with a title that's maybe a bit misplaced – given that it was the last the group recorded for Elektra Records – but a set that really has them at the top of their game! Bell, 1972. Very Good+ Gatefold
Surprisingly sublime pop from The Partridge Family – served up with superb arrangements from Wes Farrell and Mike Melvoin, the latter of whom plays some really great keyboards on the set! Love You
Warner, 1977. Near Mint-

Uni, Late 60s. Near Mint-
A nice bit of funky rock from the late 60s – with touches of soul, and some jazzy horns in the mix too! The vocals get a bit white boy soul at most times – but the backing is pretty nice, and the group have a raw funky sound on the best tunes. There's a nice cover of "I Thank ...
