Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the CD.
This might include, but isn't limited to, scratches, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
One of the grooviest albums ever recorded by guitarist Barney Kessel – a sweet reworking of Henry Mancini's fabulous music for Breakfast At Tiffanys! The set's got a warm feel and more than a bit of bossa nova inspiration – similar to some of the other Kessel and Shorty Rogers projects ... CD
Given Barney's touch on the guitar, you can bet that a record like this hardly could claim "not to swing" – and the session's a tight groover done in a way that clearly marks Kessel as one of the best guitar talents of his generation! The recording quality of the album is wonderful ... CD
Scott Hamilton on tenor saxophone, Greg Gisbert on trumpet, Joel Helleny on trombone, Norman Simmons on piano, Dennis Irwin on bass, Chuck Riggs on drums, and Duke Robillard on guitar. CD
Rob McConnell on valve trombone, Al Grey and Benny Powell on trombone, Harry "Sweets" Edison on trumpet, Ed Bickert on guitar, Gene Harris on piano, Neil Swainson on bass, and Alan Dawson on drums. CD
Really classic-styled fusion from the team of Chick Corea and John McLaughlin – a record that almost rivals any of their legendary sets recorded back in the 70s! The group here is a really old school fusion ensemble – Corea on keyboards, McLaughlin on guitar, and other great players ... CD
A solo piano album – titles include "Estrela, Estrela", "Star Eyes", "Stella By Starlight", "Lost In The Stars", "Swinging On A Star", and "The Stars Fell On Alabama". CD
