Willie Nelson — Stardust ... LP 8.99
Haunting, personal and beautiful reworkings of Tin Pan Alley tunes by Willie Nelson – and one of his most loved records – produced to loose perfection by the great Booker T. Jones. That many of the original songs here were intended as little more than saleable product when they were released by various artists in their own decades only makes Willie's presentation that much stronger. We're tempted to just come out and say that this is Willie's best album – but we have to give Red Headed Stranger the nod simply because of the original statement that that record holds. Still, Stardust is where you'll find the sweetest work. Tracks include "Georgia On My Mind", "Blue Skies", "All Of Me", "On The Sunny Side Of The Street", "Moonlight In Vermont", "Someone To Watch Over Me". Also includes 2 bonus tracks from the sessions, nice notes, and reminiscences by Booker T.  © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs. This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.

When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.

All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Maybe the biggest album ever from Tom Rush – a set that pushes the singer strongly past his more folksy roots, and seems to set him up for a bigger career in the 70s mainstream! And yet the record's not commercial at all – done with a laidback instrumental style that moves into rock ... CD

Probably the best package of Hank's work we've ever seen! The set collects 42 of Hank's tracks from the late 40s and early 50s on 2 CDs, along with a thick book of biographical notes and photos. Pretty much all of the essential tunes are here, including "I Saw The Light", "Cold, ... CD
