This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

A great set from the always-soulful Kenny Barron – stepping out here with a sense of soulful interplay that recalls his best recordings of the 70s! The group on the album's a quintet, graced by some extremely strong work on vibes by Stefon Harris – who brings an almost Bobby Hutcherson- ... CD

A great update of the sax quartet format – a mode that first saw big expression in jazz during the 80s, but which has sadly fallen out of use in more recent years! Here, a trio of younger players bring new energy to the music with longtime saxophone genius Dave Liebman – in a format ... CD
A wonderful set by Derk Reklaw – an overlooked Chicago musican from the 70s, and a player with credits that also include work in the legendary Pharoahs! The feel here is relatively in a spiritual 70s soul jazz mode – and Derf's working with ex-bandmates from the Chicago scene, plus a ... CD
Angular work from the Guillermo Gregorio Trio – a group with Gregorio on clarinet and tenor, Pandelis Karayorgis on piano, and Mat Maneri on electric violin! The sound here is somewhat obtuse at times – and reminds us a bit of Jimmy Giuffre's more "out" trio sides as the 60s ... CD
