This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
We use the all-encompassing grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can
request a return
for a full refund.
Condition Notes
If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially
if it is release or packaging details,
or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the CD.
This might include, but isn't limited to, scratches, tracks that skip,
case/insert damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Great sounds from the Carla Bley band of the 80s – and a record that still has all the modern elements of Bley's initial years in jazz, but also brings in some warmer elements too! If anything, these years unlocked a playfulness that we might not have expected from Carla years before – ... CD

One of the most striking Pat Metheny albums of the period – as the set features the guitarist working with an all-star group that actually features 2 horn players! The group's a quintet, with Dewey Redman and Michael Brecker on tenor sax – blowing in open and spacious modes that ... CD
Majestic music from tenorist Mark Turner – a set that has him soaring gently with trumpeter Avishai Cohen, a partner who really seems to make the record sparkle! The group's a quartet, with no piano – just Joe Martin on bass and Marcus Gilmore on drums – and the tenor and trumpet ... CD

Magical solo work from pianist Keith Jarrett – a set that's comprised almost entirely of standards, similar to some of the better-known trio recordings in this format by the artist – and which has Jarrett playing in this really evocative way that definitely lives up to the title! The ... CD
Jan Lundgren plays both acoustic piano and Fender Rhodes here – taking on a host of very groovy tunes from the European scene of the 60s onwards – including some great soundtrack numbers, and a few surprising jazz takes on pop cuts as well! The album's got a subtle, soulful vibe ... CD
