If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play
without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove,
you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not,
then you may return it for a full refund.
With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of
surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be
clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we
handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted
otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so
look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.

Some great tracks from the jazzy soulful genius of Norman Connors! Connors is one of the best crossover soul jazz artists of the 70s – with a masterful blend of styles that's matched by only a few other artists, like Roy Ayers or Leroy Hutson. This set includes tracks from his Buddah and ... CD
Far and away our favorite album by Phyllis Hyman – her first, and with lots of the same smooth jazzy soul touches you'd find in her work with Norman Connors! Phyllis is still as sophisticated as she is on later albums, but there's a bit freer style to the record – and Phyllis breaks a ... CD
Jazz violinist and vocalist Papa John Creach plays with the modern Midnight Sun soul group – and the result is a very strange batch of tracks that mix traditional stylings with modern instrumentation, and kind of a rock sound. Some tracks are jazzy, and lots are pretty hard jamming – ... CD
Beautiful west coast vocal group soul by The Whispers! Although the material they had recorded for Solar and Epic around the time this compilation of earlier material was issued had earned them bigger fame, we just love this early stuff – and this album's pulls together many our favorites by ... CD
A solid 2CD set of the prime pop funk and decadent soul jams of Rick James – his classic work and some great, but not so famous stuff he recorded for Gordy/Motown, from the late 70s to the mid 80s! Anthology isn't an all encompassing set, but it gets to the heart of the best of the Rick ... CD
Great Impressions two-fer featuring the last album with Curtis Mayfield, and the one album with Leroy Hutson on vocals. We love this late period stuff for its mix of political tracks and beautiful love songs. And how can you miss? With tracks like "You're Really Something, Sadie", ... CD
The last 2 albums that the Impressions ever cut for ABC during the 60s, both of them pretty darn nice! The Fabulous Impressions has a vibe that's way more than you'd expect from the group's supper club style on the cover – as the record features a great set of original Curtis Mayfield ... CD
2 early gems from The Impressions – back to back on a single CD! First up is the self-titled Impressions – fantastic soul from the Chicago scene of the 60s – the legendary first ABC album by Curtis Mayfield and The Impressions! Although the group first broke big on Vee Jay ... CD
